Isaiah

I looked around the crowded assembly Hall as i pushed by tightly packed citizens of other territories. David really did have a nice show up, I thought to myself, almost everybody has showed up. A grunt sounded above me as I accidently knocked into a Giant's ankle I looked up at the mighty man "Excuse me!" I smiled as He gave me a sneer. Luckily I had placed a spell on myself that nobody would mistake me for my brother. I'd assume it wouldn't be a good outcome at a meeting like this. I scanned the hall and found Nick who stood near one of the exits with his arms crossed over his chest. I squeezed my way through the crowd in his direction. "I'm surprised to see you here, looking like a new person!" He smiled, "It's almost like Martin Luther King at a KKK rally." He laughed giving his knee a quick tap. I felt confused at his comparison. "I don't get it, I just know I want peace and coming into this war hall looking like myself would definitely start something!" Nick stood up straight and gave me a puzzled look with a shake of his head. Nick always made weird comments and jokes, maybe referencing the land he came from.

The hall grew quiet as I spotted David who took the podium, "Ahhhh look at this turn up." David exclaimed spreading his hands and taking note of the crowded hall. "Truly strength will be found in these numbers!" The hall erupted in growls and applause, screeches and hooping. "We are making history, no longer will we live in fear, now is the time to find your place in the uprising... There will be an uprising. Vengeance will be ours!" David declared as he shook his hand in a fist. The Hall became loud again with approval. David nodded as he looked over his audience. "Go Now, sign up, let your name be recorded in the book of war, for Victory is ours!" David turned his back as the Underground chanted, "Long Live King David!" I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

"Of course nobody questions the loyalty of this spectacle." Nick snuffed.

I nodded and turned back to him, "I'll be going tonight to go retrieve what we've been talking about."

Nick rolled his eyes, "And how long must I wait, look at how David is pumping up the territories. I wouldn't be surprised if there are war buses waiting outside for everybody to board once this is done."

I glanced around at all the anticipation in the room, "Only a little longer." I whispered, "It will be an in and out. I'll be back by the second assembly." Nick nodded. "So where will you go once you cross over?" I asked curiously, I never traveled lands.

Nick looked up at the high vaulted ceilings, "The door leads out into Pennsylvania. A couple hours from there is the great city of New York where I have a small apartment. Of course I would have to find... Ya know" Nick chewed on his bottom lip considering Daniel who we let go alone. "So what happens if you don't come back."

I looked back at him surprised, "If I'm not back by the morning, go without me, I will contact you to let you know all is well."

Nick nodded.

I appeared in David's room letting down my shapeshifting spell. David was pacing as Nieko sat on the bed in wolf form. When David noticed me He smiled, "You felt the atmosphere? It is intoxicating, Vengeance will be mine!" He was starting to sound like those goal driven psychopaths.

I softly nodded. "Yes war has brought upon a surprising outcome of unity."

He thought about it and sat down, "I will need you Isaiah, so it's time to stop being neutral."

I cocked my head to the side as I adjusted my black gloves nervously, "Well what do you need me for? You have set your course..." I looked out his window that looked over the land, "I have some business to attend, but I will be back by the second assembly."
