I Hate Those Words

Chapter 5! <3

I did my every morning stuff, even managed to wrestle with Danny before school. So now I just got out of Danny's car, since someone didn't pick me up, and started heading to the front doors but got turned around. I came face-to-chest with, you will never guess, Mr. Alpha!

"Let go of me, we're gonna be late for class." I told him, though I really didn't care if we were late or not.

"Just come with me, I need to show you something." He growled. I sighed and let him drag me to his big black truck. At least now I didn't have to go to school....

"Where are you taking me?" I asked after about 10 minutes.

"It's a surprise." He said. I sighed again and laid back in the seat, I could at least get some sleep since I was still tired.

"We're here." Gage nudged me when I was half asleep.

"Shh!" I groaned. He got out of the truck and opened my door. He unbuckled me and carried me to wherever. Suddenly I was dropped on the ground and I started rolling. I screamed all the way down until I finally stopped when I hit a rock. I got up and glared at Gage, who was standing on top of a hill laughing at me.

"I'm gonna kill you!" I yelled, marching up the hill. Right now he was getting on my bad side.

"Calm down Joe." He said in between chuckles. I finally reached the top and punched him square in the face. His laughing stopped when he staggered backwards.

"I told you not to mess with me." I growled.

"Joe, calm down. I didn't bring you here to get you mad." He took slow, careful steps towards me.

"Then you shouldn't have done that!" I started shaking.

"I'm sorry, I-" He didn't finish his sentence before he tackled me. My body reacted to his touch and I started to stop shaking.

"Get off of me!" I tried to shove him off of me, but he was too heavy.

"Joe, look at me." He told me. I looked into his eyes and my shaking finally stopped. Our heads slowly moved closer together without me realizing it until our lips touched. It felt like fireworks went off and I instantly became calm. He licked my bottom lip to get me to open my mouth, but I refused. I smirked against his lips as he tried desperately to get my to open. He bit my lip and I gasped, him taking that as a chance to get his tongue in my mouth. Our tongues fought for dominance, but he finally won, grinning against my lips. I finally pulled away when I ran out of breath and looked up to see him smiling down at me. I was about to smile back when it hit me, I just made out with Gage, Mr. Alpha. I quickly pushed him off of me and took off running. I didn't know where we were at and how far we were from my house, I just had to get away from him.

"Joe! Wait, I need to tell you something!" Gage called from behind me, letting me know he was following me. Right then it started raining, which I found very cliché. Suddenly I could feel his hot breath against my neck before I was tackled, again.

"Get the crap off of me!" I screamed, trying to get him off of me since I was on my stomach.

"Stop moving and listen!" He yelled at me. The tone of his voice had me going still, waiting for him to explain. He got up off of me and helped me up, so he could look into my eyes. I already knew what was coming next, so I closed my eyes, waiting for him to say those words.

"You're my mate."

I laid on my bed staring up at the ceiling, thinking of what happened earlier. After he said those 3 little words, I ran as fast as I could out of there. I just didn't want to believe that my Mate was Mr. Alpha, I hate him! This is soo freaking awesome. (Note my sarcasm.)

"Sweetie, are you okay?" My mom asked through the door.

"Not really." I said. She came into my room, closing the door behind her, and sat at the end of my bed.

"What's wrong?" She questioned.

"Well, let's say I found my mate, but I hate him." I told her.

"I was afraid it would be him." She sighed. I shot up like a rocket, she knew?

"How did you know?" I asked.

"I could see it in his eyes." She asked.

"And you didn't tell me?" I laid back down.

"I thought you knew." She shrugged.

"I hate him, I didn't think I would be mates to someone I hate." I said.

"True, so what are you going to do now?" She smiled.

"I don't know!" I groaned.

"I'm sure you'll think of something." She chuckled and left.

"Thanks mom, so much help." I muttered. I sighed and closed my eyes, maybe sleep will make this all go away.

Gage's POV (O_o Change up!)

I yelled in frustration as I threw another chair against the wall.

"Dude, calm down, you're gonna destroy the whole house!" My second in command, Devon, tried to calm me down.

"She hates me! My own mate hates me!" I shouted.

"She can't hate you! Just give her time, she'll come around." He told me.

"She's too freaking stubborn!" I said.

"Then you'll just have to make her fall for you." He shrugged. Sometimes I just want to reach out and choke him to death, but he's a good Beta.

"Again, too stubborn." I sighed.

"Well man, I don't know." He patted me on the back and walked out of my office. I groaned and collapsed on my couch in defeat. How am I gonna win you Joe?
