"Say my name and his in the same breath

I dare you to say that they taste the same~"

It was the last song of your emo covers album. You also had Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy, I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! At the Disco, Doubt by 21 Pilots, Black Parade by MCR, etc. You had never gone on stage for your songs(except that one talent show a few years ago), but you had gone to enough Fall Out Boy concerts to meet them! They even Retweet your songs sometimes! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!? ((I wish))

There was another band that had recently noticed you. They weren't nearly as popular as FOB, but they were really trying. A rumor is going around that they need a female singer with a deeper voice than the one they already have. They contacted you on Twitter yesterday saying, "Hey! You're (Singer name), right? Well, we heard some of your FOB covers, and we would like to know if you would be interested in joining us. This is Fred, BTW. I'm on Monday, Bon is Tues, Ce is Wed, Mari is Thurs, and Fox is Fri. We're usually recording on the weekend. Get back to us ASAP!"

Once you finished the final recording, you left the sound room to be greeted by your friend and editor, Alfred Jones. "Yo, YN. That was awesome! I'll go edit this, then why don't we go get some lunch? It's already 11, and I'm already starving!" "Alright, Al. I'll check on Twitter and Tumblr while you do that," you replied. You left to go to your bedroom, then jumped onto your P!ATD and FOB themed bed and grabbed your laptop and logged onto Tumblr. A few people had liked and reblogged your Immortals cover and your last Nightpost about "What if crab has human leg?" Someone drew a picture... Terrifying. Also someone else said to go to sleep.

You closed Tumblr then logged onto Twitter. You scrolled through the new Tweets, then went to your messages. After thinking for a moment, you replied to The Faz Band with, "Hm, why not? I just finished recording a song, then I'll go get lunch, but after that I'm free. Do you want to meet somewhere, or call?" As soon as you hit send, Alfred burst into your room. WITHOUT KNOCKING. "YN! I-" "Al. What did I say about knocking?" He stared at you for a moment, then slowly closed the door, then knocked. "Come in," you called. He opened the door quickly. "YN, I ran into some trouble while editing. You'll have to go to lunch without me. Get something for me, please!" He said sadly. "Aw, ok. I'll go to Red Robin. Tavern Double?" He nodded, called a quick thanks, then ran back to his room.

~Half an hour later brought to you by coffee~

You pulled up to Red Robin and found a parking spot relatively close to the restaurant. You had touched up your eyeliner, tossed on black yoga pants, FOB shirt, purple shoes, and a gray fedora.  Going for the Patrick Stump look, I guess. You went inside, asked for a table for one, then sat and waited for your table. You noticed no one at the chalk board, so you went up to it and drew the FOB logo then Papyrus from Undertale. As you added the last "HEH", you heard your name. "YN, table for one!" You followed the waitress to a one sided booth in a corner. You sat, ordered a (flavor) milkshake, then pulled out your phone and checked WattPad. As you read a recently updated fic, your phone buzzed, signalling you had a new Twitter message. "Hey, it's Bonbon today! We can go to lunch somewhere for a meeting. I noticed we're just a few miles away." You typed in the address of the Red Robin and told him to say that he was with you.

A few minutes and a few sips of milkshake later, a blue haired boy with a blue hoodie and black jeans sat on the chair across from you. He ordered a prickly pear lemonade, then turned to you. "Hey! Name's Bonbon, but you can call me Bon. YN, right? Nice to meet ya!" You greeted him then shook hands.  The waitress came back over with Bon's lemonade, took your orders, then left. "So, to business. Cece, our main female voice, her voice too high pitched for, say, a Fall Out Boy song. Fox has a pretty good voice, but they don't like singing. We first noticed your Where Did the Party Go cover last month, and have been thinking of talking to you since. We finally agreed to recruit you on Sunday, then, as you know, Fred messaged you yesterday. Pay's 50$ a week, planning to raise to 70 bucks next month. We're still getting money and better equipment, ya know? Practice is Saturday and Sunday, lunch provided. What do you say? We'd love to have ya!" He winked one green eye and smirked. You blushed lightly, thought for a moment, then nodded. "Sure. Sounds like fun!" He punched the air, smiling widely. "Thanks! I'll email you the covers and originals for our next performance, which is next month. Someone will Tweet you the address of our next practice."

~Time skip to back home brought to you by Pandora (the online radio)~

"Hey, Al, here's your burger," you set the bag of food and a Pepsi next to your blond friend. "Thanks so much, YN!" He bit into the burger happily. You sat on his Avengers themed bed. "Al, guess who I talked to!" "Hmm, an alien?" he replied, barely remembering to cover his mouth. "No, silly. I talked to Bonbon from The Faz Band! I'm gonna join them! I'll still do covers in my spare time, since pay isn't much. Just not as often. We should be stable, though, with your job." He set his food down then hugged you tightly. "I'm so glad! You'll finally be as famous as FOB! Don't forget me when you get into Top Ten of the year, alright?" he looked into your eyes. "I don't wanna lose you, YN." You giggled, almost sadly. "Don't worry, Alfred. You've been my best friend since Middle School. I'll never forget you, I promise," you assured him. He sat back at his desk. "Oh, I almost forgot! I have a boyfriend! His name is Kiku. I met him on Twitter a few months ago. He's from Japan!" "Wow, Alfred! I'm so happy for you! I have to go do some work, so I'll see you later!" You left for your own room.

You opened your laptop and checked your email. You had a few spams, but you quickly found what you were looking for. An email from ThePuppet(at)email.com. "Hello, YN. Bonbon told me that you decided to join us. How delightful! Here are the songs we're going to practice this weekend. Respectively, Jack Marionette" Attached were sheets of music. The first one was Misery Business by Paramore, second was Emperor's New Clothes by Panic! At the Disco, then some original songs. "Welp, better get started."

For my friend's birthday! This is much longer than expected... Second part will be up next week after Christmas!
