Pip Pirrup x Imaginary!Reader
He was her best friend. everywhere he went, she was there with him. She never got tired of being with her little Pip, because in reality, she was all he had. But there was a problem...
She was fading from existence.
Pip was beginning to think he didn't need her anymore, and he was slowly getting rid of her. It saddened her to think that Pip could think even for a second that he could survive in this world without her. So what if she existed in the figments of his mind?
She loved him, and he loved her.
She didn't originally sprout as an imaginary girlfriend, she was molded into it. It started with Pip's inability to form relationships. She was the closest thing he had to a family this far away from the United Kingdom.
However, Pip was reaching that tender age where he was starting to tell the difference between real and imaginary. Which means she was up for the chopping block.
And it wasn't fair.
She sat silently watching him from her spot on the curb as he ate his strawberry ice cream. She was just staring at him. He would talk to her less and less, and it was starting to annoy her.
"Why aren't you talking to me Pip?" She asked. No answer. He simply swirled his tongue along the ice cream surface. She felt her eyes twitch. He looked up and smiled at a bird and whistled to it, completely tuning her out. She bit down on her tongue. He showed a bitter face to a sixth grader who called him a "whiny bitch". Tears were forming in her eyes, and then
She snapped.
"Goddammit Pip! If you want me to leave then just get it over with!" She huffed and sat back down. Pip turned his eyes toward her but didn't face her completely.
"I can't talk to you in public. People will think I'm a freak." He uttered under his breath. She snapped her head towards him.
"Since when do you care about what other people think of you? I remember when there was a time where it was just you and me and no one else! You're blocking me out Pip, and I want it to stop! Either start talking to me again or just wish me away! Because I can't do this!" She screamed as she turned away. She couldn't run away from him, it was part of the things she learned about herself from being with Pip.
Pip sighed, stood up, and started to walk home. She grudgingly followed suit. She kept her hands in her pockets and her head down as Pip walked home. When the two found their way, he held the door open so she could walk through into the house awaiting.
Once inside, she sat down on the couch and looked at the floor. She was fighting the urge to cry. Pip sat down next to her and huffed. "I get why you feel this way (Y/n)-"
(Y/n)... the name he gave you. It was beautiful, melodic in her ears whenever he uttered it. She never wanted him to stop saying it.
"But you have to understand that can't hold onto you forever." He finished. Tears were flowing now. She felt as if she had just been struck with a direct death blow to her heart.
"Then why don't you just wish me away completely?" She asked with a bitter tone.
"Don't take this the wrong way, but I do. I want to desperately, but there is a small part of me that isn't ready to let go of you yet. I do still love you." He said almost ashamed of himself. But what (Y/n) saw was hope. Hope hat she could stay with him.
Hope that he wouldn't give her up.
"I don't want to leave you Pip! I want to stay! Please, I can't leave you yet!"
"Please don't say that! You shouldn't be able to say these things! You're a figment of my imagination! So you should be begging me to let you go!" Pip screamed. You felt hurt.
"But I don't! I need you Pip... and I know you need me!" She exclaimed. Pip turned and smiled slightly at her. He leaned in closer and squeezed the air where her shoulders were.
"I know. I do love you (Y/n)." He said as he inched in closer to where her lips were. They air where their lips met was warmer than the air around it. Pip could feel nothing, but (Y/n) could feel it all. The taste of strawberry on his breath, the childhood innocence dripping from his pores. He was perfect, he was beautiful.
And he was not leaving her. Not today.
Smile's note: Sorry. This one is kind of short. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I really need to get the next requested story off my chest, so I'm going to Omit the Terrence and Phillip story and archive it for now. The next one will be the Scott Tenorman story. I have been super pumped to write that one. However, it will be a different plot. Taking place of the effects after the episode "201" instead of before "Scott Tenorman Must Die" Hope that's okay. If not, I'll write a second one! Thanks everyone for sticking with me!
