Chapter 6 - Judge's Homes

Camila's P.O.V.

I made it through to judge’s homes! And the best part is, Simon Cowell is our mentor! LIke who gets to say that? This is the most exciting thing ever yet it's so overwhelming. All my emotions kicked in and I just, I don't know how to deal with them so I was screaming and crying at the same time when Simon told us we were invited to his house. "We... we...." I thought. I looked around and saw 4 other girls crying hugging me, in a group hug. I WAS PUT INTO A GROUP WITH 4 OTHER GIRLS! And the best part is, Lauren was in it too! Realizing this made me cry even more, and soon enough, so did all the other girls. This was a moment I knew none of us were going to forget.

After we realeased each other, we thanked the judges and ran backstage. We all sat down and started to get to know each other. Of course, Lauren and I had already knew each other.  My other bandsmates' names were Ally, Normani, and Dinah. You would think that it would be awkward putting 5 total strangers in a group, but suprisingly, it went really well. It went better than well because we all opened up and talked about EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. Usually, I would never talk to anyone about my problems, not even my best friends back in Miami, but I took a risk trusting these girls, and so far, I'm really glad I opened up. It felt like I've known these girls my whole life. 

Knowing that I am in this band with these girls, my feelings heightened for Lauren. I knew this experience was going to be amazing, not only because of Ally, Normani, and Dinah, but because of Lauren. Knowing that I was going to be spending this experience with the person I'm falling for, made it 1000 times better.

Lauren's P.O.V.

At this point, words can't describe how happy I am right now. I'm filled with joy knowing that Camz and I were in the same girl group. After the girls and I sat down and talked about ourselves, we stood up and waited. For what? I don't know but we stood there awkwardly, like we didn't know what to do and where to go from there. I felt someone squeezing, realizing it was Camz giving me a huge hug. I immediately wrapped my arms around her small waist and spun her around. When our cheeks touched as i spun her around, she gave me a little peck on the cheek and i felt my face turning red. I tried to hide my face so no one would see me blushing. Camz released me and started to talk about how excited she is.

Camz: "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST THING EVER!"

Me:"I KNOW! I'm so happy we'll be doing this together!"

She smiled and gave me another hug and a peck on the cheek. "Why couldn't she do that on my lips?" I thought. Maybe one day..

 Camila's P.O.V.

When I pecked Lauren's cheek, I got scared because maybe she would've took it by suprise and be freaked out. Instead, she blushed which forced a smile on my face. I couldn't help but think that she might've liked it. It's really cute the way she blushes though. But then again, everything about her is perfect, her eyes, her hair, her body.. "HER BODY" I thought, is gorgeous. I really am falling for her, especially after how the girls and I opened up about our past and our lives. She means so much to me, and she doesn't even know it.. yet.

No one's P.O.V.

Lauren, Camila, Normani, Dinah, and Ally found out that Simon Cowell was the mentor for the groups this season. Of course, all of them screamed and cried tears of joy after hearing the news. 

(Later)

In the van, going to Simon's mansion, Ally Dinah, and Normani sat in the middle of the van which Lauren and Camila sat in the back. Ally, Dinah, and Normani were a little tired so they took a nap in the van before arriving at the mansion. Camila started to get a little tired as well so she relaxed her head on Lauren's shoulder. Lauren noticed this and didn't hesitate to put her head on Camila's head. Silence filled the car ride since everyone was tired.
