Chapter 21 - No Regrets

Camila's P.O.V.

"Guys.. say something..." I say, a tear crawling down my cheek.

"Kaki we're happy for you, we are. I'm glad you found someone that makes you happy. It's just... I'm shocked that it's with.." Marielle begins to say, trailing off at the end of her sentence.

"A girl... yea I know. Which is why I didn't want to tell you guys in the first place," I tell them truthfully, wiping away my tears. 

"No we're happy for you, we really are.." Sandra says, repeating Marielle's words, as if it was going to make me believe them even more. "Kaks, you just caught us off guard that's all. In fact, I would love to meet her!" She states, trying to lighten up my mood.

"Me too! I wanna know who is making my best friend so happy!" Marielle says, agreeing with Sandra. I look at both of them before saying anything. The looks on their faces had changed drastically from when I told them I was in a relationship with Lauren, and now, I can see that they are truly happy for me.

"You guys mean it? You guys really wanna meet her?" I ask, smiling.

"Of course!" Sandra squeals with excitement, making me laugh.

"Alright well... you guys can meet her when she comes to pick me up for tonight," I tell them.

"And what time will that be?" Marielle asks.

"6," I state.

"Uhh.. Kaks... it's 4:45." Sandra says, making me jump out of bed, heading for the bathroom to get ready.

"Holy crap I only have an hour and fifteen minutes!" I yell, stripping down my clothes and quickly getting in the hot shower.

"Don't worry Kaks, just come out and Sandra and I have gotten everything taken care of in your bedroom!" I hear Marielle yell, letting out a huge sigh before turning my attention to the hot water that was burning me. 

While in the shower, I was lost in my deep thoughts once again. I told my two best friends about my relationship, and although at firs they were shocked, they didn't seem to mind the fact that I was with Lauren. It was the fact that she made me happy, made me feel loved, made me feel special. I know Lauren makes me happy, makes me feel all these things I thought I could never feel, and that's why I don't care of how others perceive me, percieve us. Lauren is the only thing that matters to me.

Lauren's P.O.V. (An hour later)

I decided to wear a nice black dress that is just long enough above my knees. Before driving to Camila's, I stopped by the flower shop to buy a bouquet of roses and a card. After paying for them, I got back in my car and wrote something special for Camz on the card.

Dear Camz,

I don't really know how to explain my thoughts to you in person, so here's a card that will explain everything.

Camz, I am so grateful to have such an amazing person like you in my life. I don't know where I would be without you. Ever since I met you, I haven't felt anything but pure happiness. You are the cause of my happiness. No correction, you are my happiness. Not only this, but you make me feel things that I've never felt before, and you know what? I'm loving it. I love feeling this way. I love being in love with you, and everyday, I swear, I'm falling even deeper. But you know what Camz? I trust you. I trust you with my heart. So.. thank you Camz... thank you for everything. I love you more than words can describe.

I'm actually really excited for Camila to read my card. But maybe, giving it to her after tonight would be a better choice.
