A/N: if any of you get confused with the time placement of this chapter compared to the last one...I kinda messed this up.

I said that Zelda's coronation was happening on the day that Link and Ganondorf left Hyrule for the first time. And then, we left off with those two in Kakariko Village. In the last chapter, it was the night of her coronation and she fell asleep, thus entering the new day.

This is really confusing and I've tried coming up with the best possible way to fix my mistake, so I don't have to edit the entire freaking chapters.

We left off with Link and Ganondorf entering Kakariko on the day of Zelda's coronation, right? Well, we got Zelda's coronation done and stuff. But nothing about Ganondorf and Link was told.

So, this chapter is basically what happened during the day of Zelda's coronation, and will end with them falling asleep in Kakariko, entering the new day.

Then, the time will be in sync with that of Zelda's point of view, and everything's okay, I think.

Sorry for messing things up - I hope this made some sense to you. Carry on with your reading now.

The door closed gently behind them, creaking a bit in the process, but that was to be expected. After all, from the looks of it, this home and the entire village at that seemed to be deserted and run down. Link had really expected Kakariko to look different, and was shocked upon seeing the town for the first time. He felt like Kakariko would be a small and cozy village, with not many residents and a few buildings. Some of his predictions were correct, but he was mostly expecting the place to look more alive and not so dull and empty.

Link felt a little uneasy about entering a stranger's house, but he and Ganondorf didn't really have any other options at the moment. Finding the person holding the Triforce of Courage was going to be harder than they had anticipated.

The young girl, whose name was apparently Farona, patted her hands on two chairs that sat next to a wooden table. Link and Ganondorf cautiously sat down in those chairs, looking over at her and seeing her smile a bit.

"You guys must be hungry, right?" Farona asked, clasping her hands together and looking back and forth at Link and Ganondorf.

Ganondorf waved his hand up and shook his head. "No, we're fine-"

"Actually, we are hungry," Link protested, interrupting Ganondorf. He wore a toothy grin on his face, making Farona's eyes light up with delight.

"I haven't had visitors in awhile, so this is exciting for me," she informed. "I'll make some soup for you guys, okay?"

Farona waved a small goodbye to the two, before entering a small room nearby. Link watched as her slender figure disappeared behind the walls, which had some torn wallpaper on them and showed off the wood planks behind the plaster.

Then, Link turned to face Ganondorf with disbelief.

"We don't need to ask her for food," Link said. "That's like we're pushing her around."

"But she offered to make food..." Ganondorf muttered, shaking his head and sighing at Link. "You're stupider than you look."

"Your personality matches your appearance," Link huffed.

Suddenly, Ganondorf slammed his clenched and large fists on the table the sat at, standing up as he did so. His chair slid back a bit when he stood, making a rather awful creaking sound as it slid across the wooden floors below.

Not a single trace of fear was evident on Link's face. Instead of cowering at the taller and most likely much stronger person (compared to him, at least), Link kept himself seated. Hands placed on both of his legs, he begun a random staring contest with the Gerudo. Except it wasn't really a staring contest - more like a death glare showdown.
