After taking with Matt, I needed some answers. I needed some answers as to how his fingerprints were on the knife while he was wearing gloves. We went to the crime scene (AKA Matt's house) to get some. There were police swarming the area, looking for any suspicious people. An officer let us in once I showed him my badge. I felt so proud! Once we got inside, a big, buff man greeted us not so pleasantly.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!Who said you could come in here?!" He yelled.

"T-The officer outside." I replied. "Who is this guy? I feel like I've seen him somewhere before."  He examined me suspiciously and then his eyes lit up.

"Hey, you're that kid from yesterday!" He looked up at Mia and then looked back at me. "So, you've found yourself a lawyer?" He nudged his head towards Mia.

"Go on! Tell him!" Mia whispered. I sighed and showed him my badge.

"Sara Snowbelle, Attorney at Law." I said.

"You're a lawyer?" I nodded. "You didn't look like one. Did you just become one? Is that even possible?"I flinched.

"Um, yeah! I just graduated from Themis Legal Academy!" I laughed nervously.

"Well, your uniform is blue, so that's not hard to believe!" I sighed in relief.

"It's a good thing he didn't remember the details about my uniform. Or the fact that I'm only 16!"

"I'm Detective Dick Gumshoe: homocide detective down at the local precinct, sir!" I smirked.

"What's wrong, Sara?" Mia asked.

I continued to laugh. "It's nothing." I laughed. I shook it off not long after. "Okay, Detective Gumshoe, could you tell us anything about the murder?"

"No way, pal!"

"What?! Why?"

"Prosecutor Edgeworth's orders." Mia flinched at the name. I turned to her.

"What's wrong, Mia? Do you know him?" I asked.

"Oh boy, this is bad. Don't worry, with your potential, I'm sure you'll be able to get your friend acquitted." Mia panicked.

"I'm confused, who's this Edgeworth guy?" I asked.

"Why he's only the best prosecutor on the planet!" Gumshoe exclaimed.

"Well, I wouldn't say "the best". I mean, have you met Von Karma? I actually lost to him!" Mia retorted.

"Yeah, but Edgeworth's much nicer. I've had way less salary cuts ever since I started working with him!"

"Okay..so then how do you know Edgeworth, Mia?" I asked.

"I went up against him in my first case. It ended..tragically though." Mia replied.

"What happened?"

"You'll find out. Anyways Gumshoe, you better give us the information right now!" She yelled, and stared at him intently.

"Agh! Fine! Here." He handed us a file. "It's the autopsy report, but that's all I'm going to give you! Got it, pal?!" He yelled. I nodded. Just then a man ran up to him and whispered something to him. "Okay guys! That's enough for today!" He yelled. The men retreated from the room. "You guys can investigate now. Don't mess anything up, got it?" I nodded as he exited the room.

"Alright! Now let's get investigating!" Mia said, enthusiastically.

"Okay!" Mia and I started looking around for evidence. I noticed some white tape on the ground outlining something. "Hey Mia, what's that?"

"That's the outline of the body. Detectives always do that."

"Oh ok." I  continued to look around, when I  noticed something shiny near the door. I picked it up and examined it closely. "This is my watch. Hey Mia, I found something!" Mia ran over to me.

"What is it?" She looked at the watch in my hand. "Oh, it's just a watch."

"This was my watch. I was here on the day of the murder. But there's something weird."

"Something weird? What?" Mia asked.

"Take a look at the time right now."

"It's 11:40 AM."

"Now take a look at the time on this watch."

"It's 4:30 PM-" She gasped. "That's the time of the murder! This could be an important clue! Keep it! We could use it in court tomorrow."

"Okay!" I stuffed the watch into my pocket. I looked around for more evidence. I looked around some more, and I saw a card with a pink shell on it. "Hm, what a weird card." I stuffed that into my pocket as well. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a small piece of paper. I picked it up and saw Matt's name written on it. I was so shocked that I kinda screamed a bit. Mia came rushing over.

"What is it?" She asked, worriedly.

"I think I just found some incriminating evidence.....for our client." I showed her the piece of paper.

"Oh no. You should keep this."

"Okay." I shoved it into my pocket while sighing. "I wonder why the investigation team didn't find this?"

"It's being lead by Gumshoe. He's kinda new at his job." She laughed, then she paused for a second. "Hey, come take a look at this." I walked over to Mia.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It seems like a bunch of research papers." She handed me the research papers.

"It's torn in half. I wonder what happened?" I looked through the contents.

Research Paper 1: I have reason to believe that a scandal is going on between two studios. Global and Worldwide.

Research Paper 2: The actors aren't all too thrilled with this extra training. I was one of these actors in the past until I moved to Global Studios.

Research Paper 3: This is a very serious problem and the manager of Worldwide Studios is the cause of it. This is Trisha Engarde, signing off.

"Seems like there was a scandal between Global and Worldwide studios, and these research papers were written by Matt's mom." Mia said.

"Yeah, and it must have been pretty serious for her to leave Worldwide Studios entirely."

"But we can't ever know the whole story, without the second half!"

"Not unless we find it! Since she used to be a Worldwide Studios actress, she used to take us there sometimes. I know the way there."

"Okay then! Let's go!" Mia exclaimed.

"Yeah!" We got in my car, and drove off to Worldwide Studios.
