I stumbled out of the courtroom, having Mia hold me up to keep me from falling. I swear this is the most stress I've ever felt in my life. Mia was trying to calm me down after the huge declaration I made in the courtroom.
"Hey, hey, hey, you did well in there. Come on, let's sit down." Mia led me over to the couch, and sat me down so that I could catch my breath. "You were amazing in there. You made the right decision."
"Yeah.. now to hope that Mr. Sheppard doesn't say anything stupid." I responded, the panic clear in my voice.
"Don't worry about it, Sara. If he says anything stupid, you can counter him! You did well just now, and you can do it again!" I looked up to see Matt smiling down at me.
"Thanks Matt." I smiled, feeling comfort in hearing his encouragement. Mia brought a hand up to her chin.
"Though she's right. This witness is pretty tight-lipped. He won't be easy to crack." Mia stated. I sighed.
"But I'm sure that Sara can do it! She's been doing awesome so far!" Matt exclaimed.
"He's right!" I stood up confidently with a fist clenched against my chest. "We've made it this far! I can't go down now!" As soon as I had gathered my courage again, it all went away in one fell swoop seeing Edgeworth nonchalantly walk past me. "What the hell is he so calm about?" He turned to take a glance at me.
"Once again, you're showing your weakness, defense. You got lucky with these past few witnesses. You won't be as lucky with this one." He stated, condescendingly.
"Yeah, yeah... Just know that I'll be putting up a fight." I responded, glaring. He shot a glare straight back at me.
"And I'm sure it will be mediocre at best. I won't lose, Ms. Snowbelle." He stood there for a bit before leaving to head back into the courtroom.
"Tch. I'll show him.."
"The defense is to make their way to the courtroom!" The Bailiff announced.
"Ready? This is the final stretch." Mia said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah... let's do this!"

Judge: Court is now back in session! Has the prosecution been able to gather this witness?
Edgeworth: The prosecution has gathered the witness. Of course, only if the court wishes to cross examine someone with no relation to the case, then I will bring him out.
Sara: What do you mean, "no relation"? He has everything to do with this case!
Judge: We won't know for sure until he is brought out, so Prosecutor Edgeworth, may you please bring out the witness?
Edgeworth: Very well. I call Mr. Kain Sheppard to the stand.
Sheppard: ...
Edgeworth: Witness, please state your name and occupation.
Sheppard: .... Before anything else... I would like to say that I have nothing to do with this case whatsoever.
OBJECTION!
Sara: You knew the victim. I'd say that you have plenty to do with this case.
Sheppard: But I'm not part of the murder, right? That means I have nothing to do wi-
OBJECTION!
Edgeworth: The witness will stop chatting with the defense about meaningless banter, and state his name and occupation!
