Chapter 5

I drifted off in Daemons lap. Moments later I was deeply sumerged into my subcousious, the scene around me went from black to a bright sunny beach. There was no sun but the place was extremely hot and bright. The smell of the beach filed the nose. I was running, my serpant  necklace was boucing on my chest.  My small feet kicking up sand as I ran away from a young looking boy with briliant blue eyes. he tackled me. Giggling I replied to him in a high voice," Daeeemmmmonnnn get off you dont play fair!" I squeled as he tickled me.

" Spence, you would be faster if you actually decided to attend your training. How will you be a strong demon if you dont train" he teased. I pouted when he stopped tickling me. I got up from under him and marched over to the water and let the water engulf my feet. " This is dumb, i dont wanna train becasue i bet you my training is five time hearder then yours . I'm the one who has to keep on this dumb necklace."

Daemon came behind me and hugged me and kissed my cheek," Maybe i'll never know but im betting you, my training is physically harder then yours, since I was practically born to protect you" Strange, for a boy his age to be so muture I muttered in my mind. I steped out of the boy embrace.  

" I dont even want to wear this dumb necklace yeah its pretty but come on its so big." I whined. 

Daemon giggled boyishly," well when we get big the necklace wont be as big and you'll love to wear it.  I bet you look really pretty too Spencer." He blushed 

I smiled," your the bestest friend i ever had. Im glad your my gaurdian" 

And with that the dreamed rippled and the scene changed.

I was staring off this time looking in at a scene. I saw my self, i must of been 9 , and i was sitting on a chair while my mother brushed my hair. Mother kept brushing my hair and hummed a song that sounded extermely familiar.  Daemon walked into the room and bowed at my mother and sat down on the bed. My mother turned to him  ," Daemon darling,  your taking her down to the court yard today?"

Daemon looked at the younger version of me and nodded. I smiled on how obviously his crush was for me but i couldn't say it was only him. It seemed from this view I was happy. Mother slipped on my necklace," I don't want to wear it!" just as i said that Stephon walked in . He seemed to be 13, he grunted ," just were the necklace Violet, your not gonna die." My little self rolled her eyes and got out of the chair. She grabbed Daemons hand and then they exited. Stephon and my mother stayed in the room. 

"I have no clue if she'll ever realize how important it is to be the choosen vessel." my mother said shaking her head

" well, she will, when she 16.... thats what he said and she has Daemon who will be with her all the time." Stephon said matter-facly .

Mother nodded,"True...."

The dream ended.********************************

I opened my heavy eyelids. Just in time,  the limo slowed and daemon kissed my forehead,"Wake up cutie, your home." I heard Stephon snort at his wake up call. I smiled at him and streched my legs out in front of me.

" Are you guys gonna be staying over?" i asked hopefully. Daemon and Stephon looked at each other. 

Stephon strugged and walked out the car. A moment later he poped his head back into the car," Now hurry up you too get out the limo." HE rolled his eyes andslammed the door. The electricity between me and Daemon traveled through the air. His hands rubbed my head and he slowly nudged me off my shoulder. I pouted and he laughed," Just like old time cutie pie." I gave him a confused look and he kissed me on my cheek. The urge to turn and kiss him flowed through me but i had to contain it. I couldnt kiss him  hardly knew him. I smiled shyly and bit my lip . I shook my head to get images out of my mind and got out the limo brabbing my purse and phone. I could of swore I heard Daemon sigh but when i turned around he smiled back . He followed me to the front step where a very annoyed Stephon was waiting. " You guys to forever jeez!" Stephon said out of frustration. I scolded and unlocked the door.
