Chapter 18

He leaped at me. I caught him mid air and slammed him into the ground. He whimpered just alittle and twithed in the crater that was created in the ground. His parents didnt move to help him nor did anyone else for that matter since i was still glowing an unearthly shade of purple. Daemon look bewildered and rushed towards me again. I shoved his hand off of me, I didnt need confort now.

"listen kid, I dont play games like that. I am someone you dont wanna mess with. You got me. I can kill you in a snap no effort would be needed and nobody would be able to help you. Demon or not. And hey, you dont know anything about these three hell hounds right here. much less then they know about you so before you go running your mouth about animals you dont know about think about it or ill have your tounge." Venom dripped in all the words that i spoke.

He slowly looked at me and narrowed his eyes and aburtly stood up and walked out of the meeting room. His mother looked at me and bowed and apologized for her sons behavior she soon scurried on out to find him. I looked at them all giving them a death glare my happy mood was defientaly shot.

"Sit!" I commanded. they all sat don in a seat nearsest to them.

They looked at me in aprehension then it dawned on me that i hadnt really thought of a plan. I would have to wing it. I though of the fight that i had with Alex when he came to my house. Then it clicked.

"Alright people the battle is going to start soon. I give it a week before alex plans on attacking us. We have to be ready and skilled. Most of you as i can recall are more or less trained. The men at least the women will be training day and night rest period will be the day before the battle." Words just flying out of my  mouth, I spoke with authority and when i had glanced at stephon he gave me a smile telling me i was doing great and that i was right in everything i was saying.

"MEn you will also be training to we have warriors that will train you in the more skillful attacks. We have about ..." I glanced at Daemon he mouth the number 200, i nodded," 200 warriors to fight with us and there are about 250 of you guys so we will most likely out number Alex by a good hundred. From my recent fight with alex when he invaded my home," Gasps flew all around, i rolled my eyes," He likes to use sneak attacks, attack you when your not expecting it. We could do the same as him or we can learn how to anticipate it. There a signalls to know when someone is coming. We just have to realize it and also recongize." I spoke alittle longer about the battle plan they would all be learning how to recognize the signs soon enough.

The meeting was over and i followed everyone out of the meeting hall. We all had about an hour or 2 to relax before training started. Everyone walked towards the dining hall but i wasnt exactly hungry to i walked in a different direction then everyone else . Stephon had told me the dogs  were being held in the west courtyard. It was about 6 corridiors down. I started that way.

Then there was a tapp behind me i flung into action i grabbed the demon and held them in a head lock getting ready to snap there neck,Then i realized it was on Gabby looking at me as if i lost my mind.

"The hell Spencer, get off of me. You tryna kill me." I realeased her immedidatly.

"Shit im sorry." She nodded her head .

"So.... anyway where are you going?" He cocked her head to the side questionly.

'To go visit my hell hounds." I said answering her question and then walking down the hall.

"You mind if i join i wanna get to meet them." I shrugged my shoulders i didnt really care as long as she didnt harm or scare them i was fine. She was a nice girl anyway well nice enough for a demon i guess.

We walked down chatting lightly about little things. Soon enogh we reached the door that led out to the court yard. i was extermly excited to go see them and play with them Its only been a day i know but i havent played with them in years. The door leading out to the court yard was huge. It had intricate designs trainging up and down the door like vines on the side of the wall. The handles were one of the rings where you lift and pull to haul the door open. I lifted the ring and pulled it open slowly seeing that door was extermly large and kept stopping on unevening florring underneath it. 

I stepped inside the courtyard taking everything in. It was sunny and had a nice feeling outside. the flowers were beautiful.  Then i remembered, Daemon had brought me here once, before i had to leave to the earth plane. I was going to make the love connection with him that day when i was 7. Ha, I dont know why so young after a moment of thought. I took it all in. Then i glanced around. Where were the hell hounds.

Suddenly I heard a scream. I ran towards it. Could it be alex was he here trying to take some one. I glanced around and ran through the courtyard and then stopped. and looked back where the hell was gabby. I stopped thinking for a moment and just acted. i ran towards it as it screamed again. I  turned passe the waterfall and the down another way . The court yeat was shaped like a digital 8 on a clock.  The screams grew louder and louder as i came near. 

As i turned the last part i saw it. I saw with horror in my eyes. Two of my precious hell hounds dead, laying in a pool of deep red blood. I couldnt move nor could i scream. I just clamped my hand over my mouth. and let out a silent scream. I looked over prying my eyes off of the heartbreaking sight ad saw Gabby Standing looking horror stricken. She looked at me and walked over and rubbed my back trying her best to sound soothing. Comforting me in my desperate time of need.

"Who would have done this" I said in a small voice.

She thought for a second ,"maybe that boy that didnt tried attacking them before?"

I looked at her, she could very well be right. I looked around 2 of them my precious precious hell hounds. How could he do that. my face probably becoming unreadable. Gabby was now waving her hand in my face trying to get a reaction. I was becoming cold again. I was so angry so sad and heart broken that anyone would do this to my friends. I stood up and looked at them and walked over and kissed each of there blood matter foreheads. Then it struck me where was Levaithan? i looked around. Something flashed past me.

"LEVIATHAN! WEHRE ARE YOU!" I voiced 

no answer , I calle out again this time even louder and then i sawy him. Hidden in the cornor horror stricken. I walked over to him and gabby followed. He seemed to shrink as we came closer. I leaned down near him and hugged his head.  He whimpered slightly then growled in some direction, I just patted his head . I wasnt facing Gabby so a let a tear slip from my eye and it landed on his coat. I whispered inhis ear at that same moment.

"Tell me who did it?" I asked quietly so that Gabby wouldnt here and tried to stop me once i killed who ever did it.

" I can not tell you Princess, I tell you and i die to." He spoke in my head.

"I wont let anyone hurt you" i whispered in his ears,

He just shook his head and whimpered.'I want to tell you but some-'

That was al i got......... that was it . I pulled away and looked at him. He wasnt dead he was looking at me,  he looked scared. He seemed to be concentrating hard on trying to speak to me but icould hear nothing. He barked at me. , he strarted at me. But i couldnt read what he was saying. 

Gabby just rubbed my shoulder. I brushed it off i ddint want comfort right now. My emotionless face soon returned. I waved for them to follow me. Something felt odd in the air. Leviathan was walking dangerously close to me on the other side of Gabby. I looked at him and he whimpered.. then growled and the whimpered again. I frowned and then led them out of the courtyard. I was going to find that boy..... And i was going to kill him for doing this to my friends. The only friends that i actually had. He was going to pay.
