They were all waiting patiently for the doctor/scientist to come out of the room. "Don't worry Sonic, if he can't do it then I'll try." Tails said but all the blue hero did was nod as he paced around. They were all stuck in a white metal waiting room. They didn't know where they were exactly were. Rouge was able to find someone at G.U.N. to help, they arranged a date and everything. Only problem was that he didn't tell them they were going to be taken in unconscious, so when they woke up they were all freaking out, including Rouge. The doctor/scientist had told them not to be alarmed and it was a G.U.N priority to make sure nobody knew where the places were located, even some agents and solders. But if Rouge plans on going there again then she's revealed the location of it. But that's just a special offer for her since she did them a 'favor' of letting them do whatever it is they're doing. It was a three roomed building. It consisted of the waiting room, the patients room, and the 'storage room' but they weren't sure what was in there. Finally a young gray colored owl with blue eyes and a white coat came out of Shadows room. "You can see him." And with that sentence, Sonic quickly dashed in while his friends remained there. Sonics eyes had to adjust before be got used to the place. It had pure white wall, bright lights hung overhead, a hospital bed was put into the farthest right corner by a window with white curtains, even the the door was so white. Shadow was the only thing with color. Sonic stopped at the entrance since he couldn't see anything at first. When he could, he careful walked over, listing to the noise his red and white shoes made. Tap. Tap. Tap. It was a small tap against the tile floor. When he finally stood in front of Shadow he looked at his expression. He had one that looked like he was struggling or confused. Looking at the window, Sonic close the blinds. "Shadow!" A female voice softly called. Turning, the blue speedster saw Rouge come in a hug Shadow. He jumped as he let out a yelp. He struggled to get her off before saying something. "Get off me!" It was only a raise of his voice but it still sounded threating. "Sorry." She quickly said as she pulled away. Sonic walked over to the door as Shadow tried to open his eyes and put a hand over them. "Damn it. Can't see a thing!" Shadow growled to himself until Sonic had turned off the light switch located next to the door. "Already got it!" Sonic excitedly exclaimed before rushing back to Shadow. "Thanks." He mumbled as Sonic and Rouge looked at each other but quickly dismissed it, thinking it was from being in a relationship with Sonic. "Shadow. I miss you you as a partner. I got stuck with Clumsy Clarkson." Rouge said as Shadow gave her a confused face. "Who are you?" She stopped dead. "You.... You don't know me?" She asked as she was going to cry. The first words she hears from him are 'Who are you?'. How nice. "Shadow, you don't remember me?" He shook his head. "No. But I wish I could. Your about to cry. You look familiar and I feel like I've known you for a while and your supposed to be important." Shadow said as Rouge smiled. "And do you remember me?" Sonic asked with fear in his voice. "No..... Am I supposed to?" Sonic could only sadly smile with a nod. "You still have your old scent. And the dirt smell." Sonic said. "What scent?" Shadow asked. "I'll tell you later." Sonic said as Rouge stood there. "Can I at least have a hug?" Rouge asked as Shadow hesitantly answered. "Uh.... I guess." With those words she death hugged him but being immortal it just squished him. "Bye hun. Sonic, are you going to take him?" She asked, about to leave the room. "Yeah. And don't worry, I'll get his memory back." He said as she left with a nod. "I'm right here. I might not have my memory but I'm not powerless." Shadow said to Sonic as he smiled. "Your still the same old Shadow." Sonic said with a laugh.
The doctor/scientist named Dust let Shadow go home. Everyone backed off since his memory was missing but he felt as if he's known them for a while.
