Friends

Tails sat with the gang. Silver and Blaze sat next to each other talking. They were always doing that. Him and Cream thought that they were secretly boyfriend and girlfriend. Cream, him, and Charmy were talking like always. Knuckles was napping by his Master Emerald. Espio sat in meditation away from the group. Vector wasn't there since he went to a party. Only reason he had come last time was because Espio made him and said he'd give him some music. Rouge had gathered everyone up, they were just waiting on Sonic, Shadow, and Rouge.
Rouge soon arrived and saw everyone there but Sonic and Shadow. She had expected them to be there already since she just made it there, she had taken a detour to a make up store before coming. So when the two finally came she got up and stormed over there. "What took you so long? Shadow, you have never been late or anything so what's your excuse now?" She whispered. "We took a shower." Shadow said. "We had some 'fun'." Sonic said as Shadow hit the back of his head. "You need to stop saying things like that." Shadow said before walking away. "Don't worry, he's just upset he has to be here." Rouge said as Sonic shrugged and walked after Shadow with Rouge.
"Shadow?" Tails asked as everyone looked at the hedgehog. "The one and only." Shadow responded, feeling refreshed suddenly. Espio got up and greeted him. "Welcome back. Get your memory back yet?" He asked as Shadow nodded. "Yeah, a few days ago." Shadow said as Espio looked at the blue hero who spoke to Tails.
Everyone was having a grand time until.....
"If Shadow got his memory a few days ago then what have you guys been doing?" Knuckles asked as Shadows eyes went wide. "Uh, Tails, Cream, and Charmy, let's go play a game and first place wins a bucket full of candy and toys!" Shadow said, standing up suddenly. All the children cheered as they followed Shadow. The group of whoever stayed stared at the retreating form of the dark hedgehog before looking back at Sonic. "Don't answer Sonic." Rouge whispered even though she was across from him. "Well I can't lie." Sonic said. "Sonic was pounding Shadow!" Rouge quickly said as everyone looked at her suprised. "That's an interesting choice of words." Espio said as everyone nodded.
Cream won the game and so did Tails and Charmy since they played three games that had a strength of every child. Shadow then took them to the store, gave them a bucket, and told them to full it up. He spent about $100 for every child. The four went back to the gang as they were in an awkward silence "Ok.... So why don't you go play?" Shadow suggested before they ran off and did as told. Shadow walked over to the group and sat next to Rouge. "Something happened. What he do something? What'd you do?!" Shadow asked looking at Sonic. The blue speedster stood up and sat on the left side of his lover. Sonic whispered something into Shadows ear that caused him that caused him to freeze with a blush before he face palmed. "I can't believe you!" Shadow said. "Sorry guys, you'll have to excuse us. We need to.... Work things out." Shadow said as he pinched Sonics ear and dragged him away. "Classic female move." Knuckles said making everyone look at him. "What? I'm pretty sure any women would've done that. Rouge? Blaze?" The two girls nodded in response.
Shadow dragged Sonic all the way home by his ear on purpose. So when they walked in he let go. "Sonic!" Shadow hissed as Sonic sat on the couch. "What?" Sonic asked, confused. "What do you mean 'What?' Why'd you tell them that?!" Shadow asked. "Because I couldn't lie!" Sonic said. "Yes you could! You don't tell them that!" Shadow yelled. "I feel awful." Sonic said. "Why? Because you told them that?" Shadow asked as Sonic shook his head. "No. Cause your my uke, so like the girl but I'm being grilled here pretty hard and I feel embarrassed about that." Sonic said as Shadow sighed in frustration. "Sonic! Do you not understand that you can't say that?!" Shadow asked. "Yeah, I do. But I'll make you a deal." Sonic offered as Shadow looked at him, seeing if he could catch Sonic lying. "Fine. Deal. You stop acting like that around our friends." Shadow agreed as they shook hands. "I'll only act like that when its only us. Starting now." Shadow nodded as he left to the kitchen. "Ok...... I'm going to make some lunch. What do you want? Sandwiches? Pasta? Or maybe we can order pizza maybe?" Shadow asked as Sonic walked over to Shadow. "I was thinking something like you?" Sonic whispered in Shadows ear as he hugged him from behind. "No. That's all we ever do that I don't even remember the last time I ate." Shadow said as he elbowed Sonic into the stomach a little. "Because I fill you up so much?" Sonic asked as he watched Shadow move about the kitchen from the table now. "No. Now stop." Shadow said. "We made a deal so I don't have too." Shadow just sighed at Sonics sentence.
