Shadow curled up into his bed, tired and cold. His head was pounding, his stomach churned for an unknown reason, his body had the chill. His eyes hurt. He couldn't explain any of it. He jumped and ran to the bathroom and vomited into the toilet.
Shadow spent his day in the bathroom.....vomiting. Once he had tried to eat some toast, puked. Then tried to drink water and luckily he didn't vomit but when he drank milk or juice, anything besides water, he vomited. Shadow just sat next to the toilet, his head against the cabinet under the sink. He tried to get some rest but his head would hurt and when the pain finally died down and he'd finally start to sleep, he'd have the urge to vomit. Shadow was busy vomiting when Rouge walked in on him.
The white bat had knocker on the door, getting impatient. After a few minutes of waiting she let herself in. Yes, she knew that seemed impatient to anyone besides her or Shadow but that was only because this was Shadow. It was only Luke this with Shadow because anyone else would've taken a few minutes to answer the door while Shadow did it in less then a minute, she knew something was up. She looked around, not seeing the dark hedgie but soon heard someone in the bathroom. She the open the door and saw Shadow puking his guts out. She gasp and ran next to him, patting his back. "Shh. There. There. Its okay." She whispered as he finished. He wiled his mouth onto a sleeve of a black hoodie he put on, to keep warm. "Uh... Hi Rouge. Is it already time for our session?" He asked in a raspy voice. She nodded quickly. "I -I got here late because the Commander wanted to talk to me. But here I come to find you sick...... What happened?!" She asked loudly as his lowered ears were covered and he looked away. "Sorry. Here, let me help you." She offered her hand to him as he took it. He let go and wobbled instantly. His legs buckled underneath him, he fell with an help on his rump. She helped him up again but her his arm around her neck and walked near the wall. She took him to the loving room and put him laying on the couch. "I'm going to make you some soup. How does that sound?" She asked as Shadow grabbed her arm. "Don't! I don't want to stay the remainder of the day at the toilet. Please!" Shadow pleaded with sad puppies eyes. "Ok... Are you ok?" She asked as she kneeled by him and petted his head. "Yeah. I don't know what's wrong." He responded as hr had his hands resting on his stomach. "I'm sort hun but we've still got to so our session....or else we're gonna have someone getting onto us about it. So let me go get my stuff." Rouge said patting his hands before leaving to go get her backpack. Shadow groaned as he had a stomach ache. The white bat soon returned to see her friend curling up in pain and cringing. "How are you feeling?" She asked as he layed on his stomach then. "Physically? Mmm..... Like shit. Mentally? Uh..... Crappy." Shadow responded. "You want to talk about how you feel? Don't worry hun, I ain't writing this down. Maybe, I might write something like is sick and stuff. But that's all." She offered as he looked at the couch cushions. "Sure. I guess...." Shadow sighed as he felt her put a hand on his shoulder. "Come on hun, its ok. You know you can trust me." Rouge insisted. "Its that.... I don't know. I mean I miss Maria but then I don't miss her... And I feel guilty for that." Shadow said as Rouge nodded. "And why don't you miss her as much?" She asked and Shadow turned his back to her and curled up. "Cause of Sonic and you." Shadow mumbled. "And how's it going with Sonic?" She asked as he snarled a little. "It was going good. Great actually.... But sometimes I doubt us, sometimes I think that he's just wants my body.... But that was rarely, only like three times but....yesterday after you left Sonic and me were...." Shadow didn't finish and blushed. He was too embarrassed to tell Rouge. "Were you guys doing it?" She asked as he shook his head. "Not exactly... Then someone was at the door, it was a girl. Sonic went first and I was walking over there before she said something that made me rum over there." Shadow started as he trembled a little. "What she say?" Rouge asked, interested. "Sonniku..... In that annoying, high pitched voice!" Shadpw growled as quills rise up slightly. "Amy?" Rouge asked as Shadow nodded. "She was saying she was sorry and how she missed him, Sonic told her he had forgiven her and hugged her back..... Then she kissed him on the lips and he didn't do anything." Shadow huffed as he looked at his hand in front of him as the other wrapped around his stomach. "Well, we're going to have to fix the problem." Rouge said, standing up. "I already tried that. Well I tries to ce up with a plan bit then I got sick..." Shadow said as Rouge turned to look at him with a suspicious face. "And...what's your plan?" She asked as Shadow sat up. "Shot her in that head." Shadow said with a evil smirk that even scared Rouge and caused a shiver to go down her spine. "That's not what I meant! What I meant was we could go over there and teach them a lesson. I'll deal with the bitch and you deal with Sonic." Rouge said as Shadow grinned in response. "Ok. Let's go." Shadow said getting up. "Wait! What if you puck again?" Rouge asked as Shadow shrugged. "I don't kbow. I think my body was just acting up on purpose." Shadow said as she nodded. "Then let's go." She said and flew out the door with Shadow right behind her.
Amy say on Sonics couch, sitting dangerously close to him. The blue hedgie was nervous, not only did he feel weird sitting next to his old obsessive friend but he was still thinking bout Shadow. He was such an idiot! He knew Shadow was fragile and ducats but strong and tough, but doing that would only break the dark hedgie.
The pink hedgehog was silently waiting to hug the hero, she acted like she had gone broke and needed a place to stay. She had cone to Sonic saying that. He agreed to let her stay. She looked at the bottom of the door, where the sunlight shined under the crack and saw Shasows and Rouges shoes.
Sonic was deep in thought of Shadow that when he felt Amy snuggling up against him, he had jumped slightly. He was about to look at her until the front door open. Rouge quickly came in and grabbed Ants wrist dragging her to the back. "We need to talk about girl stuff!" Rouge said in a alert voice, leaving the two males alone. Shadow waned in the door way, his arms crossed with a upset face. He looked at the ground. "Shadow. Where'd you go? I got worried when you didn't come back. Shadow? Are you listening?" Sonic asked as he put a hand on the others shoulder.
Shadow felt Sonic place his onto his right shoulder but slapped it away and looked at him with a death glare and growled. "Leave me alone......Faker. I'm only here for Rouge!" Shadow snapped at Sonic ad he went back to cross inf his arms and glaring at the floor. "Shadow.... What's wrong? I thought...." Sonic didn't get to finish his sentence as he loaded his ears and looked away, running his upper arm. "Well, you thought wrong! Just like me!" Shadow growled as he glanced up.
Rouge dragged Amy to the backyard. She put her hands on her hips giving Amy a distasteful look. "What are you doing here?" The bat sanded as Amy held the end of her dress and looked up with puppy eyes. "I went broke and got kicked out of my place. I knew Sonic would let me stay here until I could go back." Amy said in a childish tone. "Cut the bullshit bitch!" Rouge snapped as Amy crossed her arms and glare at the white bat. "Fine! I'm just trying to get my Sonniku back!" Amy replied. "You know Jes with Shadow and will only love him!" Rouge growled at the pink hedgehog. "I didn't know he was alive again but I'll just have to get rid of him again!" Amy hissed. "No your not!" Rouge said as she slapped Any who did the same back. The two began a cat fight in just a few minutes.
Sonic looked at Shadow and looked back down. "Shadow, I'm sorry. I didn't know." Sonic admitted. "Didn't know what?! That you love Amy?" Shadow asked as he looked straight into Sonics eyes. Sonic held the gaze but could felt uncomfortable by now the dark one stared tight into his soul. "No! That's not what I meant! I mean I didn't know any of it was going to happen!" Sonic said. "You mean falling in love with the annoying excuse of a hedgehog? And the kiss or kisses and snuggling? Well, new flash! I didn't see myself here now did I? So I guess you'll just have to get used to the surprising future, now won't you?" Shadow said as he sighed. "You know what I mean!" Sonic said as he pointed an accusing finger at the other. "Do I? Do I really? I'm not sure what you mean!" Shadow said. "Yes you do! You know I don't love Amy! You know I love you and only you!" Sonic shouted and grabbed Shadows arms and pulled him close. Shadow struggled to get out of Sonic grasp. "Hey! Let go of me!" Shadow yelled in anger. Sonic threw his lips onto Shadows with eyes closed tight while the other froze in place and his eyes went wide.
Amy took her opportunity to pull out her piko-piko her and sent the bat flying a few feet. "If you'll excuse me, I've got a monster to get rid of!" Amu huffed before turning away. "Your not supposed to use your weapons in a cat fight dumb ass bitch!" Rouge growled as she followed Amy into the house to see her frozen in place, her face suprised. Rouge looked at the image in front of her.
Sonic held Shadows wrist up so the dark one was close. Sonic kissed Shadow who's eyes went from wide to close and slowly kissed back. Amy gasped and growled, storming to the couch and throwing her hand in between the cushions. She yanked her hand out and moved the objet around in her hand, the sunlight reflecting off it.
Shadows eyes sent wide when he could see something bright flashing into his face, he looked to see Amy in front of Rouge with a evil grin. Shadows held a curious face until Sonic pushed him into the wall, causing the dark hedgie to close his eyes again. But Shadow reopens his eyes again hearing a click, his ears flicked before he pushed a stunned Sonic off. Shadow finally saw Rouge with bent ears and a worried face with her hands up as Amy held a pistol in hand. Sonic looked back to see what Shadow was looking at. The two raced over there to save the bat but ran into each other, trying to get the other to move. "Shadow! Move!" Sonic said in desperation. "Sport Sonic but I can't let that happen! Today's my day to play hero!" Shadow said as he kissed the blue one who stopped in confusion that soon turned to suprised. Suprised when he felt Shadow push him into the wall, the wind knocked out of him and a single gunshot. Emerald eyes looked up to see Shadow push Rouge to the ground and turned slightly, aiming a hand to Amy's legs before Chaos Spearing them slightly off, so shed be hurt but not have badly damaged legs. Only problem was that when he did that, a bullet spiraled right onto his chest. Amy goes in pain and fell to the ground. Shadgows eyes went wide a bit as good leaked out of his mouth. "Sayonara Sonic. Rouge, Just know you were my sister. I love you both." Shadow said with trouble, gasping and coughing between words. But his eyes went larger and he put a hand over his heart.
Amy held the gun in place after shooting the dark hedgehog, aiming right at his heart and hitting it.
Shadow fell to his knees and collapsed to the side. "In sorry." Shadow gasped out as the two that loved him dearly crawled to him. Sonic and Rouge cried harshly for a while. "I'm sorry Sonniku... It had to be done." A quiet voice said from behind. Sonic whipped his head around and quickly got up and carried her bride style, running away as fast as he could. Rouge was shocked to say the least when the hero left but he soon returned to Shadows side in a few seconds. "Sorry.... I had dropped her off at the police station with a note by me." Sonic sniffed as Rouge nodded in response. "W-what'd it say?" She asked as Sonic sighed. "It said that I saw her full on commit a murder, and that it was my mate. Then I wrote note to the Commander saying Shadows dead...again." Sonic said.
Everything grew dark, like someone dimmed the lights before Sonic planted his last kiss on Shadows lips. Bright yellow light floated around the two before it trailed to Rouge.
Shadows eyes quickly opened wide. He sat up, his heart beating hard. He looked around to see white.
He blinked a few times before he saw all of his 'friends' surrounding him asking if he was okay. Then something hit his head and he saw black. He saw the same thing just from a few seconds ago, confused. Amy ran up to him and embraced him into a hug. "Shadow! Are you ok?! I thought my sweety was going to have to go to the hospital!" Amy shrieked in concern as Shadow went suprised. He passed out again. He woke up again. What was happening?! Him and Amy?! Rather go to hell first and rot there..... Actually he would never do anything first since he was never going to do it. He wasn't even friends with them, why would they look like they were so close?
Groaning, he sat up, seeing himself on the floor in Sonics living room. "Sorry Shadow, well not really, but I never actually loved you." The dark hedgie looked up to see Sonic holding Amy in his arms as they held a gaze. Shadows heart broke, shattered into billions of pieces. "W-what?" Shadow asked as he looked hurt. "You heard me. I was just using you. I was using you to get Amy jealous here....and also for your body. I'm just glad she finally caught on, I font think I could've lasted any longer with you." Sonic said as Shadow lowered his ears. He knew it. Then everything went dark again.
Shadow watched as Amy held a gun to Rouge before pulling the trigger. "Rouge!" Shadow yelled as he scrambled to his feet yo catch her before she fell. She held a hand over her stomach, tears in her eyes, the other bloody hand sent to Shadows cheek as she smile softly. "Don't forget me Shadow or else I'll come back to haunt you!" Rouge threatened as they laughed sadly before she closed her eyed and stopped breathing, her hand slid down his cheek leaving blood marks.
"I'm sorry Sonniku but you have to die too, you betrayed me." Shadow turned around to see Amy have the gun pointed to his forehead with tears on both if their eyes. "Amy! Don't!" Sonic insisted as Shadow carefully let go of Rouge and made his way across the room, just realizing everything was pitch black besides them. "Sonic!" Shadow yelled, with a hand outstretched, Sonic turned and did the same. "Shadow!"
The ultimate life form stooped dead and looked down, falling to the ground. She had shot him in the stomach, just like Rouge. His eyesight became blurry and dark. He saw the punk hedgehog shoot Sonic before bursting into tears and hugging him before she shot herself into the right side of her head. Nothing. Black.
