Chapter twenty three.

Minji's POV

My body went frigid. I was frozen.

"Hey! It was you!" I know for a fact that it's rare to be hearing his voice.

"Hi," I managed to squeak out.

He laughed hysterically. "Hey! All of us almost become a freak just to search for you!"

He took the seat infront of me.

"Now tell me, why are you running away? But before that, I'll inform Kai that I finally found you." My heart was immediately stab with guilt.

"No, please?" I hold his hand that is holding his cellphone to his ear.

"Why?" He lowered down his phone after I made sure he ended the call that he just made.

"I'll tell you but please help me, hide me from the rest. I promise I'll go meet them myself." I stare intently in his eyes.

"What, why?"

"Please, oppa?" He sighed.

"Fine but you owe me, alright?" I grinned.

"Let's go! I want to take a look at your apartment!" I said enthusiastically.

He sighed then rub his temples. "Minji, why you're suddenly interested in my apartment?"

"I don't have anywhere to go. I'm planning to meet them next week." I grinned.

"Shit, then I must keep this a secret for a week? I'm the first brother and eomma know me too well. I can't lie, Minji." I pouted.

"Pleaseeeee!?" I stare at him.

"Let's go." He pulled me towards the carpark.

"So what are you doing at the airport?" I casually asked when I'm in the elevator with him.

"I'm back from Singapore. Our new hotel branch there needs attention." I grinned.

"I'll drive my own car, okay?"

"Your car was located by Kai and he brought it back to the house." I sighed.

"So you're driving me there?"

"The house?"

"No! Your apartment, of course." He sighed.

"How did you even know I have my own apartment?"

"Just so, I know." I chuckled.

"Shit! Minji, just now it was hard!" I wa startled when I heard Suho's voice venting from the front door.

"You're eating again?" I grinned sheepishly.

"God, are you eating for a hidden demon in your body?" I laughed.

"So why are so freaked out just now?" I continued munching on my drumstick.

"Don't know. I felt bad for keeping the secret behind them." I sighed.

"I understand you're a good son, you don't lie, you feel bad if you have secret. I'm sorry." I said sadly eventhough I'm still munching my drumstick.
