Chapter twenty one.

Minji's POV

5:30 a.m.

This is a mistake.

No, I can't be,..

I move myself away from the sleeping Kai. I know something had happened from the look of disaster in this room.

I shake my head to myself.

No.

I quickly take a shower then slip into a white jumpsuit. I tie my hair then went to the guestroom I had been staying in.

I take my suitcase, putting my important things and some clothes.

After making sure all of my important belongings are in my bag, I walk out of the room.

I write a note then stick on the dresser at our bedroom and glance at Kai.

"I'm so sorry." I whisper then peck his forehead.

I walk out of the house, getting inside the car.

I drive to Gwangju. It's not far but I know that this is the place that no one could find me.

I park at a hidden place then knock on the door.

After awhile, the door opens.

"Good morning, halmeoni." I grin when I saw Hoseok's grandmother opened the door.

"Aigoo, good morning Minji-ah!" I hug halmeoni tightly.

"I miss you." I grin at her.

"Why didn't you visit? You are my favourite granddaughter."

"I am busy these past days. I'm sorry. But I decided to stay here for a week, is it okay?"

"It's good, Minji! I am happy that I have a company."

"Oh? Where's Hoseok?"

"He has works at Seoul. He will be staying there." I nod.

"Oh so we're the ones here?"

Halmeoni nods. "Great!"

"Come on, let's get inside. I'll get you breakfast!"

I grin then walk to the room I used to stay before then put my bag inside.

After we take our breakfast, I help halmeoni picks some vegetables and we do some house chores.

After lunch, I stay in the room to rest for awhile.

I dial Hoseok's number.

"Hey Hoseok oppa."

"What a suprise to be having you calling me, Minji."

"I just wanna tell you if Kai comes to you and asks my whereabouts, please don't tell me I once come your halmeoni's house."

"Uh? Where are you? Are you there?"

"Yes, I'm with halmeoni. Can you please do the favor? Don't tell him."

"Why?"

"I'll tell you later but not soon." I chuckle.

I hang up when I got Hoseok to promise not to tell my whereabouts.

"Why did you leave Seoul and comes here?" I didn't reply straight away instead I suck in the wind that hit my face.

"I feel so peaceful here so I think I don't need to be there anymore."

"Are you serious? Or you're just joking?" I chuckle when Hoseok seems a bit nervous with what I just said.
