Chapter 9 - A New Adventure and The Star Children??

Hello Minna, I'm back with a new chapter for you all. I'm soo sorry it took so long to get uploaded, but I have been really busy with work and have had major writer's block for so long and it was hard to for to  concentrate on writing but enough of my excuses as I have made you wait long enough. I hope to have the next chapter up between Christmas and New Years. I may also have a little Christmas Special one-shot for you guys so I hope you guys will stick around for that. Without further ado chapter 9, I hope you all like it.

Your POV

I wake up bright and early and pack everything I need for the mission Mira and I are going on... but Mira did say we'd be in a group this time around, I wonder who she'll be asking to come along on the mission? I guess I'll find out when I get to the Guild. I have a shower, get dressed and I head downstairs for some breakfast. As I reach the bottom of the stairs the sweet smell of roses drifts through the kitchen. I have a big breakfast of waffles, eggs, and bacon to gear me up for today's mission, I finish cleaning up and head out to the Guild.

I arrive at the Guild with everyone gathered around Master Makarov, He's holding up a wanted poster but I can't quite make out the face on it.

"(Y/N), (Y/N) over here" Lucy shouts over the crowd. I walk over to her through the thick crowd of people standing around, when I reach Lucy she's with Mira, Natsu, Gray, Juvia and a blue flying cat? I stare at the cat until Lucy realises who I'm looking at. "Oh, that's Happy... he's Natsu's exceed," Lucy says as happy flies down a little to say hi.

"Hi (Y/N), I'm Happy it's nice to meetcha," Happy says raising his paw.

"Nice to meet you too Happy," I say as I spot Mira, I walk over to her and give her a big kiss. "What's going on? Why is everyone gathered around Master Makarov?" I ask as Mira hugs me tightly.

"There's a Dark Wizard called Asterus Prime causing havoc near Fiore's capital Crocus. Master Makarov is putting a team together to help try and stop him" Mira says with a serious look on her face "Smaller Guilds have tried to stop him but none have succeeded and the Magic Council has tried but to no avail" Mira sighs.

"Who do you think Master will choose to go to stop him?" I ask turning towards Master Makarov.

"I'm not sure (Y/N), we'll just have to wait and see" I hear Mira say as the Master clears his throat and silence quickly takes over the Guild Hall.

"The King of Fiore and the Magic Council have asked the Guilds across the country to assemble a team of their best wizards to stop this menace, therefore I have chosen these 6 wizards to go the capital and apprehend Asterus Prime" Master says and makes a brief pause "These 6 wizards are Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Juvia Lockser, Mirajane Strauss and" another pause before the last name is revealed "(Y/N)" Master calls my name and my eyes widen in shock. What?... me? This can't be right there must be better wizards in the Guild than I am... but the Master must have chosen me for a reason... I guess I'll find that reason out when we get to Crocus.

"Mira, I hope we can stop his guy," I say as I grab Mira's hand.

"I'm sure we will and I'll be right there with you so no need to worry," Mira says as she gives my hand a squeeze. We turn towards the rest of our team for the Mission with determination on our faces "Right everyone we'll meet at Magnolia train station in 1 hour" Mira says and everyone nods except Natsu who looks like he's going the throw-up.

"Are you ok Natsu?" I ask Natsu.

"Yeah, he's fine, he just gets bad motion sickness is all," Lucy says while rubbing Natsu's back.
