Chapter 12 - The Love Rival Returns?

Hello Minna, Chapter 12 is here and the next 2 chapters will be the last 2 for this book *cries a little* but there will be a book 2 where Mira and Reader takes the next steps in their lives together *squeals* It maybe a while before book 2 is out as I need to plan for what's going to happen but you may be able to hear a faint ringing in the distance *giggles* but enough of that, please enjoy chapter 12.

Your POV

"Good morning (Y/N)" an angelic voice pulls from my slumber when I feel a light touch on my forehead "Come on sleepyhead, time to get up" the voice calls to me again. I mumble and my eyes flutter open to see my head resting on Mira's chest, I look up to see Mira's smiling face as the daylight streams through the windows giving her a heaven glow. I wrap my arms around her and nuzzle my head in her chest playfully.

"You are the most beautiful thing to wake up to ever," I say as I unbury my face and kiss Mira sweetly.

"You're such a flatterer (Y/N)" Mira giggles, wrapping her arms around my neck as we cuddle get each other.

"how can I be when it's the truth, my angel," I say kissing her again.

"Well then if my princess says it to be true then I believe her" Mira giggles then sighs "but really do have to get up, I don't want to be late for work," Mira says as we begrudgingly unwrap ourselves from one another. We have a nice shower together and get dressed. Then we realise what the time and head straight out the door cause we're late. Luckily, we're both quick runners because we got to the Guild Hall just in time.

"Sorry (Y/N) I hadn't realised just HOW late it was," Mira says panting as we are both out of breath.

"it's ok, I'm sorry we didn't get to eat breakfast together," I say kissing her on the cheek. Mira steps on to the bar and her shift begins, I take a seat on one of the benches with Lucy, Natsu, Gray and Juvia. One of the upsides to having your girlfriend as the head barmaid is she knows all your favourite foods, so the next time I see Mira she's carrying a plate of hot steaming pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon "Thank you sweetie" I say giving her a big hug, then I start to dig in before it goes cold.

"You're welcome, Princess" Mira giggles and winks as she goes back to work, I blush and the guys smirk at me.

"Princess?" Gray chuckles.

"what you don't have a pet name for Juvia, Gray-sama?" I say giving him a sideways glance and Juvia looks at him with puppy eyes.

"Never mind" Gray sighs and I laugh, choking on a piece of pancake but I strong hand smacks my back to stop the choking.

"(Y/N) are you ok?" Lucy asks worriedly.

"Yeah I'm good Lucy" I answer and turn to thank the person who saved me "hey thanks..." I stop to see Freed and Laxus. "Hey, guys," I say surprised to see them.

"Hello (Y/N) are you sure you're alright?" Freed asks still concerned.

"Yes, Freed I'm fine honestly, I'm guessing I have Laxus to thank for saving me" I smile at them both and Laxus blushes slightly.

"It was nothing really" Laxus brushes it off it was no big deal.

"But thank you anyway" I smile at him when they both join the table and I continue to finish my breakfast this time minus the choking. "So, what does everyone have planned today?" I ask our group.

"The four of us are going on a job today" Lucy chimes in, pointing to herself, Natsu, Juvia and Gray "We're going be gone for a few days so I'm sorry if you wanted to hang out (Y/N)" Lucy apologises and I give her a smile.
