Chapter 13

Katie's POV
Tears started falling down my cheeks as I started at Travis and Val making out.

Chiron was beyond enraged. "Travis Stoll! Valentine Howard! How dare you! Both of you are familiar with the rule that no two campers shall be alone in a cabin! Let alone be sucking lips! Both of you, come into the Big House." His voice swooped dangerously low at the end of his sentence.

Val visibly gulped. Travis seemed to be fighting with himself. He had his eyes closed and was slightly shaking. I slowly reached out to comfort him when I remembered what I had seen seconds before. He opened his eyes and stared at me for a second before leaping towards me, tackling me in a hug.

He whispered something into my neck quickly. "Katie help me! Val did something to me and I don't know what! I can't control myself! Please Katie. Don't pay attention to anything I do! It's not the real me! I love y-" before he could finish, he was yanked off me and thrown the the ground.

Val was staring at him in horror. "W-what was he saying to you?" She turned and asked me, fear evident in her eyes.

I glared at her. "None of your business Val. Now if I were you, I would hurry your butt to the Big House."

Connor's POV
I stared at Travis as he and Val followed Chiron into the big house. He wasn't like this. He didn't cheat on people, even if he was a troublemaker. I would get to the bottom of this, even if it's the last thing I do,

Val's POV
I could feel their stares burning a hole into my back as I headed to the Big House. If Chiron found out, i would be in so much trouble. I looked down at my small purse. It has small doses of the love potion that Travis had to take every 12 hours. Without that, I'm powerless.

I was barely listening as Chiron scolded us. I was too busy thinking of the odds. I could get into major trouble, from Chiron, Travis, Katie, and Conner. Maybe even the whole camp. Was it really worth it?
