I stood by myself on stage as felt over my dress. That is, until all the boys came with red boxes of chocolate shaped in hearts. "No!" My voice squealed as I lightly tapped Puck on the nose with my black fan. "No! No! No!" I told them all. They all pulled out fake guns and put it to their heads, then falling to the ground.
Camila: The French are glad to die for love. They delight in fighting duels. But I prefer a man who lives. And gives expensive jewels.
They all got up and surrounded me as I imagined myself as the beloved Marilyn. I danced around and felt so amazing and beautiful.
Camila: A kiss on the hand may be quite continental. But diamonds are a girl's best friend. A kiss may be grand but it won't pay the rental. On your humble flat, or help you at the automat. Men grow cold as girls grow old and we all lose our charms in the end. But square-cut or pear-shaped these rocks don't loose their shape, diamonds are a girl's best friend.
They all held up black bands of diamonds and I carefully felt over them one by one.
Camila: Tiffany's. Cartier. Black Starr. Frost Gorham.
I then held onto Finn's face as he kneeled to me and smiled.
Camila: Talk to me Harry Winston, tell me all about it!
I walked up the steps to all the girls dressed in beautiful flowery outfits and sat with them.
Camila: There may come a time when a lass needs a lawyer, but diamonds are a girl's best friend. There may come a time when a hard-boiled employer thinks you're awful nice, but get that ice or else no dice. He's your guy, when stocks are high. But beware when they start to descend.
I got up and quickly went down the steps, grinning to myself for how thrilling it felt to play one of the most iconic woman ever. Thank god I had hips like her because otherwise, this belt would look mighty stupid on me. I'm not the one to show off my hips since they're one of my biggest insecurities, but if Marilyn could do it, I can
Camila: It's then that those louses go back to their spouses, diamonds are a girl's best friend.
I then strutted around and smiled at Mr. Schuester, even throwing a rose to him at his seat in the auditorium.
Camila: Diamonds, diamonds. I don't mean rhinestones. But diamonds are a girl's best, best friend.
Everyone clapped and bowed. "That was beautiful Camila. Now, please explain to us why Marilyn Monroe inspires you." Mr Schuester smiled. "Well. She was herself, through critiques and hardships thrown. Plus, her body and self was actually more beautiful than what she thought." I explained. "Perfect. This is a great exanple, and I'm glad you've finally understood how much potential you have." He smiled. "MCKNIGHT!" A bull horn blared with the sound of hellish tension in their voice. It was none other than Ms. Sylvester. "Figgins office, now. You too pretty boy." She snapped her fingers at Mr. Schuester. He rolled his eyes and I looked at Finn, who couldn't do much but give me a reassuring look. I quickly changed seperately into my ballet leotard wih my shorts over them since I knew the meeting would take up time until the final bell rang.
Once we got to Figgins office, I knew it was one hunk of bull.
"Mr. Schuester has yet again let the kids do another sexual act that I find offensive." Sue spat. "The number I did wasn't even sexual, nor did I'd make it! I understand she is a sexual icon, but you can't call it sexual if I didn't make it!" I looked at her. "What about Britney that you so daringly got away with?" "They were in our dreams for the billionth time!" I exclaimed. "Enough McKnight." "No, it's never enough with her! It's always me she's after, and all my friends!" "Glee shouldn't be a thing that's why! I'm standing up for what I believe it now watch your tone or so help me Camila, I will go off." "We stand up for what we believe in by singing. We should be able to express ourselves. So please, go ahead and go off." I crossed my arms.
"Camila I'm very disappointed to keep seeing you in my office." I turned my head in awe and my mouth dropped. "Are you kidding, do you not realize it's HER." I pointed at Sue and she dramatically became upset. "A teacher has every right to pull a student to my office if they suspect foul play!" Figgins fought back. "But she doesn't have the right to constantly harass us!" Figgins was tongue tied for words and Sue became pissed really quickly. "Do something!" She whisper yelled. "Uh, we can hear you.." I almost laughed. "Figgins this isn't fair to my kids. Why does this all of the sudden become a problem?" Mr. Schuester finally kicked in. "Well Summer needs her grant from Sue before she lea-" Sue kicked his shin and he grunted in pain.
I don't think my blood has ever boiled as hard as it began to.
"Summer?" I questioned slowly. "Nothing, pipe it." Sue closed her hands in a mouth position. "What. Grant." I stood up. "Sue is giving Summer a grant for some reason." He said quickly. Sue walked out and I followed her. "Tell me now." I growled, then forcefully turning her around. "Don't touch me." She scoffed. "TELL ME NOW!" I yelled, not caring about everyone staring at me. "Fine. I paid Summer to go into the Glee Club and find everything out she could, even throwing you guys off about bit. I can tell it worked. I was actually about to go pay her since she's here finishing up testing but decided just to mess with you guys for a little bit beforehand." She smiled laughing. "Sue I can press charges." Schuester came up behind me. "Don't worry butt chin, the cameras got destroyed. Why do you think the cafeteria has been serving the same meal for a month? They need money to repair all of them."
I didn't waste any chance to start running down the hallway. "Camila stop!" Mr. Schuester called, but didn't dare move. I started to fast pace walk and put my hair into the tightest bun I could. "Alright Camila, one last thing before the bitch leaves for good." I quietly mummbled. I then started to pass by the translucent wall of the gym and Finn caught a glimpse of me and knew I was pissed. He stopped practicing and started towards the door to grab me, but I kicked a desk to the door and jammed it. "CAMILA NO." Finn jiggled the door, but he couldn't get it to budge so he started to go the long way around.
I made it to C hall and stormed the hallway past eveyone. "CAMILA!" I could hear Finn at the far end of the hallway, but it was swarmed with people so he couldn't get to me quickly. I found the state testing room and barged in. "Excuse me what in heavens are you doing?" The coordinator stood up asking. I went right over to Summer's seat and punched her right out of her seat. When she was on the ground, I started throwing books at her until she actually decided to fight back.
"FUCK YOU YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT." I screamed as everyone was terrified and the teacher was trying to get other teachers. Me and Summer tumbled acrossed the ground but then we stopped when she had me pinned. I kicked her back repeatedly with my knees and kept beating on her face any time I could until someone pried her off. I went to lunge at her, but someone wrapped their arms around my waist and yanked me back. "GET THE HELL OUT OF MY SCHOOL." I screamed my voice dry. "FUCK YOU MCKNIGHT." She yelled back. I slipped out of their arms and went after her, but then I was caught again. "YOU DON'T MESS WITH MY FAMILY OR ANYONE. THAT'S A FACT YOU SON OF A BITCH. GO BE A WHORE WITH PAUL SOMEWHERE ELSE," I screamed one last time before putting my feet down and helping myself walk considering I had been dragged out.
I looked up and it was Finn pulling me down the hallway forcefully, with the look of anger on his face. I looked down the empty hallway and sighed, now feeling bad that I disappointed Finn. When we turned the hall, Finn stopped me and leaned me against the wall, using the end of his jersey to wipe blood from my chin. He then started to chuckle for a strange reason.
"That's my girl." He whispered chuckling quietly.
