Chapter Three
'oh honey--was he cute".
i chuckle and say
"really really cute mom---but he already has a girl friend".
she looks at me saddly and says
"oh baby--im so sorry".
i shrug and say
"its ok really-i think where friends---he's really nice to".
she smiles and says
"well i would be happy to meet him one day".
i stuff some bacon in my mouthand then say
"oh and dont freck out i just thought you probley needed to know that yesterday i missed my bus so he like kinda---gave me a ride home".
she sighs as she shakes her head and says
"Blaze you already know how i feel about you hanging around boys'.
i frown stabbing my eggs with my fork and say
"but nothing happened mom---he's different--and so sweet and plause its not like he's gonna come knocking on my door every day asking to give me a ride".
she chuckles and
DING DONG!
she stands up in her chair and leaves the kitchen, going to answer the door as i stuff my mouth with food. man this is good.
"Blaze dear---its for you".
i frown, and swallow as i get up and leave the kitchen, walking through the living room to my mother who stands in front of the open door.
my eyes go wide when i see Zach standing on our porch and i say in disbelief
'Zach--what are you doing here'.
he smiles and says
"i just wanted to stop by and see if you wanted me to give you a ride here---i mean its better then ridding the bus".
my mother clears her throat loudly and i jump a little and say
"oh Zach this is my mother mom this is Zach--he go's to my school".
she sticks out her hand and he shakes it as he says
"its nice to meet you".
she smiles and mouth's to me" i like him", making me roll my eyes. she chuckles and says
"well Zach my daughter would love to get a ride to school from you--wont you dear".
i slowly nod and she says
"ooohhh let me go get your bag--you two stay right there".
she leaves and i look at Zach and say
"sorry about my mom-she can get a bit---happy-sometimes".
he chuckles and says
"no problem".
my mom reappears and hands me my backpack and says
"have a nice day at school honey--dont get into trouble know".
i nod and stp out of my house and walk with Zach to his car. he opens the door for me and i slip inside and he go's around the car and hops in the drivers seat.
he starts the engine and pulls out of his drive way and starts to drive down the road. i smile laying my head back on the seat and say
"thanks Zach--your car is a lot better then the bus--and it smells really better".
