He's a vampire.
I take a step back, he takes a step forward. "Have you...." I can't even finish my sentence!
"I haven't hurt you, maybe I just compelled you but that's all."
"Compelled?" I question, he nods.
"To make you think something or do something, I made you forget every time you found out," he whispers.
I run a hand through my brown hair and bite my lip out of confusion and frustration, "I... I don't know what to do," I whisper.
"I understand if you need space," I shake my head.
"I want to know everything that you've done and how you feel," he gulps.
"Everything?"
I nod, "everything."
He sighs and sits down on a bench on the side walk, I sit a fair distance away and look at him intently.
My heart beats wildly in my chest, "why are you afraid?"
"Me? Afraid? I'm not afraid," he chuckles.
"I can hear your heart beating quickly," I gulp.
"Just tell me," I demand.
"I'm a vampire. A king to be exact-" I cut him off.
"A WHAT!" My voice raises like the white chicks voice when the guy said he was a size fourteen but she said a ten would fit.

"I'm the king of vampires Shae, I'm powerful," I scurry back in the chair and close my eyes, "you don't need to be afraid of me, I've learned how to control my thirst."
"I'm a human. You're a vampire!"
"I know. Don't speak so loudly," he hisses.
"How do you feel when you hurt people?" I shudder, he bits his lip.
"I...I like it. It brings me a sense of peace, I feel powerful," he mutters.
"Okay, what's your abilities?" I ask him.
"Super strength, fast speed, I can jump really high, intense hearing, I can shut my emotions off, oh and you heal quickly and can die for as many times as someone kills you because you're already dead. But the bad thing is that once you become a vampire or are a vampire, everything is heightened. How you feel, the feelings will grow. It's complicated."
