The next chapter will be in Tyler's pov guys!

Shae's pov.

"So it was a disaster?" She asks feeling disappointed when I'm the one who is meant to be.

"Yup," I reply popping the 'p.'

She sighs sadly and pouts, "I was rooting for you," she whines and I chuckle.

"Something seems odd about him," I honestly say, there was this vibe that read bad news, stay away.

"What do you mean by that?" She asks looking confused, I sigh.

"There was something inside me, like a voice; telling me to go home, to never engage myself with him again. That he's bad."

"That's just your silly thoughts!" She says lightly slapping my arm, I shake my head.

"No, it's not Sam. He was acting weird, making up all these non believable lies and he was looking off into the distance as if communicating with someone," she looks at me confused.

"With who? He's human! It's not like he had a speaker thing in his ear so he could hear what someone's saying and they can hear what you're saying-" she gasps, "MAYBE HE DID!"

"No he wouldn't, it was like he was staring at someone. He chose to sit outside, something is off about him."

"So you don't like him? And you're not going to go on another date with him?" I shake my head, there's a definite no there.

"No, he creeps me out Sam; please be more understanding," she sighs her mouth opening and closing like a fish.

"I'm trying to be, it's just weird. How can you feel like he's bad news? How can you hear a voice speaking in the back of your mind!" I huff.

"It's called talking to yourself, I don't know though... It just happens," I reply.

"Isn't it more the gut feeling instead of the head feeling?" She asks me.

That sounds wrong....

I roll my eyes, she's really getting on my nerves. "Sam stop it!"

She looks at me surprised and sighs, "fine I'll be more serious," she mutters.

Finally.

"Why don't you go on another 'date' with him, but it won't actually be a date. Check out his ears to see if there's anything in there, just see what happens," I nod. Not a bad idea actually.

"Great idea."

"Let's go see papa Valentine first," she squeals and I smile, every day is a good time to see my dad.

"Let's."
~~
"Do you believe in supernaturals?" Sam asks us, looking puzzled.

Dad and I both look at each other, we snort. "Who believes in that crap?" I laugh.

"That's nonsense dear," dad chuckles.

"Papa Valentine! Shae! It's just a thought, no need to make me feel embarrassed," she mutters, a small blush coating her pale cheeks.

I snicker, "well why'd you think it then?" I raise an eyebrow.

"There's something I need to confess," she says, we wait. "It feels like there are missing parts of my memory, it's like something's missing and my mind is begging me to remember," she frowns, I furrow my eyebrows.

"Strange," I comment, it's not that I don't believe her it's just that it's actually strange.

She tucks her blonde hair behind her ear and shakes her head, gosh she looks perfect as usual.

"It's been bugging me, do you feel like that as well?" She asks me.

I shrug,"no because I haven't been focusing on my mind, I've been focusing on other things like Tyler, Austin, Reece, you, my injuries, college, everything," she pouts mockingly.

"Poor baby," I laugh slightly.

I think about her supernatural thought for a while, "well it is possible."

Dad and Sam look at me in confusion, not having a thought of what I'm talking about. "Ha?" Sam asks.

"You lost me," dad says.

"Supernaturals. It's possible that they are real," I nod to head.

Dad chuckles," in my 45 years of life I have never come across a supernatural person or someone who seemed the least bit suspicious."

"Yeah, that's what you thought," Sam drawls out.

"I not only think it, but I know it," he winks.

I roll to eyes and Sam does too," papa Valentine, just because you've lived a long life doesn't mean you know everything," my mouth forms an 'O' shape and I laugh.

"WE NEED ICE!" I shout, a waiter comes over to me holding a bucket of ice.

He places it on the table and walks away, "what's with the ice?" Sam and dad ask.

"You need some ice for that severe burn!" I cackle, Sam laughs loudly her eyes crinkling and he grin bright.

Dad smiles, the wrinkles in his forehead showing even when laughing!

I guess it's because we crinkle our foreheads?

He grabs a piece of ice and puts it on his mouth, I smile.

"So dad, what do you think about supernaturals now?" I tease.

"I still think they aren't real."

"Think about it papa Valentine, strange things have been happening. A person was found with bite marks on his neck, people have been found completely drained of blood. There's this nagging feeling in the back of my head like I've forgotten something, something that was important to know."

"How did you know bodies were drained of blood? How did you know about the bite marks also? It clearly said on the news paper and news that it was a wild animal," Sam snorts and I look at the exchange in confusion.

"My dad is rich, he owns a lot of things and the news is one of them. I went through his files reading the real reason, now papa Valentine... How did you know?" She leans toward placing her head between her hands.

"Your father and I are good friends, he told me of course!" He rolls his eyes at her foolishness.

Bodies... Drained of blood. Bite marks on the neck, well there's one thing I know.

Vampire.

~~
