I'm shaken from my thoughts yet again when Cal taps my shoulder. I groan and look at him. ''What is it, Lux,'' he doesn't say anything but points over my shoulder. I turn around to see that bearded man again. I shrug and look back to Cal expectantly. He remains silent, but Vik speaks up. ''Him and that other guard keep talking and then gesturing towards you,'' he explained, shifting in his seat. ''Who is he? He was there when Callum let me out of my cell...'' he frowned briefly, and I let out a short sigh. ''He's a night guard learning how to deal with us on a day shift,'' I say monotonously. 

After what seems like ages, I hear the head guard blow his whistle, signalling the end of our break. Cal leaves in the other direction, since his cell is on the opposite block. It's a shame, really. He doesn't know anyone there.

Vik and I walk over to our exit together. Vik, along with the other patients, are let through and followed down by one of the guards. I'm about to walk through, but I get stopped by the hefty guard. ''Sorry, Minter. Rules are rules,'' he says simply, and I hold out my hands for him to slap the handcuffs on. I flinch as it catches on the skin of my wrist. At least the night guard was careful. I look around, searching for him. He's already gone. I sigh and let the guard drag me down the hall to my cell.

I run my finger over the slice across the back of my wrist and flinch. ''Shit...'' I mutter, rolling my sleeve down. I completely forget about my injury when I notice Vik across from me, looking extremely concerned. He crouched down, hugging his knees and studying something down the hall. I toss a stone into his cell, being careful to avoid hitting him. He snaps out of his daze. ''You okay?'' I ask, and he shrugs, pointing down the hall. I scoot over to the front of my cell and try to peer through the bars. I bite my lip as I see Ethan huddled up in the corner of his cell. Looks like I took it much better than he did.

Night time rolls around, and most of the staff begin to clock out. Ethan hasn't moved an inch. I shake my head. He's clearly not okay. I look to Vik, and he's lying awake in his cell. I throw another stone to him, and he shoot's upright. ''He needs help,'' I mouth, and Vik nods, before letting out as loud as scream as his lungs will allow. Not long after, multiple night guards arrive, followed soon after by Doctor Lewis. ''Harry!'' I grab his attention, and then gesture to Ethan's cell. He looks annoyed for a moment, but he soon understands and sends the guards away. ''We're sorry, but there was no other way to get your attention...'' Vik says sheepishly. Doctor Lewis rubs his temples. ''It's alright. I'll sort it out,'' he reaches into his pocket and unlocks Ethan's cell, before sitting down next to him. He's always had a weird connection with the patients. They see him more as a friend than anything else.

It takes him a while, but he does get Ethan to calm down. ''No more stealing guns, eh Payne?'' he says, nudging the patients shoulder lightly. Ethan lets out small laugh, his throat and eyes still slightly raw from crying. Doctor Lewis pats him on the shoulder before exiting the cell and locking it up. He leans his head in through the bars briefly. ''I can schedule an appointment for you with me or Doctor Winsor if you'd like...'' he offers, watching Ethan closely. The boy nods. ''Th-thanks...'' he smiles slightly, before resting his head on his knees. ''You lot, get some sleep,'' he says, before heading back down the corridor. 

I hesitate for a moment, before calling him back over. ''Simon?'' he says expectantly. I show him the split in my wrist and he shakes his head. ''Anyone else need help?'' he calls out, and a chorus of what seems like everyone calling ''me'' fills the halls. I let out a slight chuckle. This is gonna be a long night.

A/N; (i might start doing more of these) the reason harry's here is because he has to stay over night in case anything happens. him and lily/doctor winsor take turns to stay over night. hope you guys are enjoying it so far. <3 xxx h00di
