I study the neat row of stitches running across the back of my wrist. It stings, but it's much preferred to the gash I had previously. It only took Harry about five minutes. I'm on the fence of whether I should call him by his first name or not. It feels weird not to.
A couple of weeks pass by. Nothing eventful really happened. I found out that bearded guy's name: Josh Bradley. He's a pretty decent guy. I'm pretty sure he's in love with me, too. Vik told me that he's officially a proper guard now. So i'll be seeing a lot more of him. I'm not sure if that's good or bad at the moment.
Cal's been having a tough time. He's terrified of pretty much everyone. I think it's my fault.
Ethan's recovered from isolation. He still rarely talks, and he's usually still a lunatic, but you can tell he's happy.
Vik's the same old little arsonist we all love. I'm surprised they haven't let him out yet. Sure, he sometimes hears voices, but I think we all do from time to time. They caught him trying to light a match in his cell, but he handed it over without any fuss when they found him. We're fire buddies, me and Vik. We love the stuff.
Callum's still a tiny bit wary of me, but he's much nicer than the other guards. The same goes for Josh.
I got talking to JJ as well, recently. He's a night guard, and he's fucking hilarious.
I discovered Deji isn't too bad either. He's JJ's brother. The two have a weird rivalry thing, but it's kind of a joke. And he's an isolation guard.
Tobi still hates me. Same goes for most of the other guards and patients. They think it's my fault that rules have been reinforced and security is higher. It probably is my fault, to be honest. I don't see why no one has a go at Ethan, though. Maybe because he's usually too out of it to argue. They don't like people who don't fight back. They don't see it as a challenge.
Jokes on them, though. I like fighting back.
