You are walking along the street and suddenly, you see a small cake shop along your way. It had a lovely and cute atmosphere around it. Since it was already getting dark, its windows were enlightened with lamps radiating white light. Thinking that you may enjoy a cake wtih your boyfriend, you enter to the shop and look at the stand covered with glass, preserving colorful and delicious-looking cakes.

Today was your 1st year anniversary with your boyfriend, Akabane Karma. Your first meeting was nearly half and a year ago, at your first Economics class as a second year in your new university. That day, you were a little bit late and most of the places to sit in the class were full. Though you could spot a place next to a red-haired boy with pale skin who was Karma. Even though he seemed to listening to the lesson, his eyes didn't show any interest in the lesson, almost as if he knew everything and he simply found the lesson boring. You standed next to his place and asked if anyone was going to sit next to him. He simply shook his head and you sat next to him.

After that lesson, you would end up sitting next to him frequently. Sometimes you would go and sit next to him, and sometimes he would come and sit next to you. At first, you guys weren't talking at all, probably also because of your quite personality, but as you get used to his accompany, he started talking to you.

You guys were a quite weird duo. You didn't show much emotions and you didn't talk much either. Though you weren't an unaproachable person, people would understand that you were a considerate and kind person after talking to you, on top of that, some of them would enjoy your silent company.

On the other hand, Karma was full of emotions. He was mostly seen to be relaxed almost as if he didn't seem to care about anything seriously. Nevertheless, you could see that he was actually pretty serious about everything, just not showing it that much. He was also really smart, too smart that it was actually annoying you a little bit, which was the reason he would nearly always take the first place in the exams. Although, in the academics, you were also pretty confident in your skills which also created a small rivalry between you guys.

In the end, you guys became really close friends which led you to be lovers at the moment.

You didn't have many chances to express this feeling but you were actually really grateful towards Karma. Both in middle school and high school, you had few close friends but you weren't able to have a long romantic relationship with anyone for people would get "bored" from your emotionless face.

However, Karma was different from all of them.

He was one of those few people enjoyed your silent company and could understand you even if you didn't try hard to show your feelings.

Because of your part-time job, you couldn't spend all the day with him today but you wanted to celebrate this day even a little bit.

Finally, you choose a strawberry cake with white cream and take the box which has the cake in it from the clerk.

You walk towards Karma's house with quick steps, can't wait to celebrate this anniversary with your boyfriend.

At the moment, you guys were living in separate houses but you had a duplicate key for his house. You didn't have the chance to give your house's duplicate key to him, since you would usually meet up and celebrate things in Karma's home.
