When Dean woke up, the first thing he registered was the pain in his ass. The second thing, was that Cas was asleep next to him with an arm wrapped around his shoulders. The third and last thing, was that he was naked.

His mind was fuzzy, fore sleep had taken over most of his brain. He shuffled away from the sleeping man beside him and tried to slide off the bed and out the door. He was beginning to pry Cas' arm off his waist when he heard a deep laugh from behind him.

"Where you going?" Cas' sleep filled voice broke through Dean's thoughts of escape and he stilled quickly.

"Uhm. Nowhere." He said a little to fast and when he turned to face Cas, he saw the man was raising an eyebrow at him.

"Sure thing Dean. If you wish to leave you can; I don't want you to be uncomfortable. But first," Cas hesitated before continuing, "Just let me make sure you're okay."

"I'm fine Cas." Dean muttered, attempting to escape Cas hold on his waist, "We've done this before, remember?"

Cas sighed and removed his arm from around Dean, "Yes I know. I just want to make sure you're okay with everything that happened. Also, that you know where you are." Cas grinned at Dean's confused expression, "You're in my apartment building, and from the looks of you you're not going to be able to find your way home alone."

"I have Google maps." Dean huffed, "I'll be fine."

Cas smirked and rolled out of the bed, "If you let me walk you home I'll make breakfast." He bargained.

"I said I'll be fine Castiel." Dean murmured although breakfast did sound very nice. A growl interrupted his thoughts and he looked up in surprise at Cas.

"Don't look at me, that was you." Cas said with raised eyebrows, "you must be hungrier than you thought. Come on, I'll make pancakes."

Dean grumbled in protest, secretly happy for breakfast, and even happier that he got to stay around Cas.

As Cas left the room to the kitchen Dean rubbed his temples. This would be the last time he did this. The last time he slept with Cas and woke up the next morning wanting to stay. He promised himself that.

He sat on the bed for a while longer making vows in his mind that he would never come here again, no matter how much he wanted to.

"Dean!" It was Cas, "Breakfast is ready!"

Dean's heart fluttered at Cas' voice calling his name and he sighed. His promise was going to be harder to keep than he thought.
