Many comments for smut so I'm thinking I'll add some into a chapter soon. (Sorry none in this one though I couldn't find a place to add it in)

Thank you all so much for reading and enjoy!

There will be time skips

They get into a bit of a quarrel and it seems really dramatic but just push through it.

~

Once Dean and Cas arrived back at Castiel's apartment they sat down and talked. Dean ended up apologizing again and again, and Cas ended up silencing him with kisses. They didn't go any further than kissing and when the day flew by, and it was night again, they curled next to each other in Castiel's warm bed.

"You won't leave?" Cas questioned softly as Dean snuggled into his chest.

"Never." Dean said

"Promise?"

"Cross my heart."

Dean felt a gentle kiss being pressed into his hair and he sighed in content. He was happy, there in Castiel's arms, and he wouldn't leave this time. He would never leave Cas alone again, that much he knew.

Three months later, Dean asked Cas to move in with him. They'd been going steady and Dean had grown tired of packing a bag every time he went to Castiel's place.

He'd walked into Cas's apartment one evening, and after he placed his bag on the floor leaning against the wall, made his way to the kitchen where Cas was cooking dinner.

Dean has leaned on the kitchen counter next to where Cas was mixing some sort of sauce, and before Cas could lean over to kiss him, he said loudly, "Move in with me?"

Cas had stared at him for a few seconds in shock before a grin spread across his face and he finished his mission of planting a kiss on Dean's lips, "I would love to."

Dean had nearly fallen over when he felt the relief flood through him. He had been worried it was too soon to ask, but apparently not for Castiel. He grinned and pecked Cas on his cheek before wandering into the bedroom to let Cas finish dinner.

Two months passed and everything was doing great. Then on June 13th they had their first big fight. Dean and Cas had had little arguments and squabbles before but neither ended up in tears or slamming doors.

Dean had a bad day at work.

That was all.

He had a shitty day with rude customers, annoying coworkers, bitchy boss, and traffic.

When Dean got home he collapsed onto the living room couch and buried his face in a soft pillow.

"You alright love?"

Dean looked up to see Cas standing in the middle of the living room looking at him with concern in his eyes.

"'M alright." Dean mumbled.

"You sure?"

"I said I'm fine." Dean snapped and turned his head deeper into the pillow to hide his guilt at his bitchy attitude.

"I see," Cas muttered softly, clearly knowing something was wrong, "Dinners ready if you'd like some."

Dean slowly got up from where he was nestled in the couch and kissed Cas lightly on the cheek before shuffling to the kitchen.

Dean ate in silence, only grunting in response as Cas happily told him about what a lovely day he had. It was Cas's first day off work for the summer since the high school he worked at just released the students for the break. He continued on to plan what they would do over the summer seemingly trying to distract Dean from his bad day.
