This is mainly about the types I see and my favorite types.
There are a lot of different people who comment on stories here. Some annoying and some kind. Mostly annoying though.
First we have the common grammar Nazi's.
They irritate me more then the haters. You don't need to pick out all my mistakes, which I know I've made. Unless I ask you to do so, then Do. Not.
End of sentence. Just don't!
Then we have the haters.
They're the common ones that hate on everything. For some reason they feel like it's ok to hate on someone.
Well news flash honey. Calling someone ugly doesn't make you any prettier, calling someone stupid doesn't make you any smarter and calling someone fat doesn't make you any skinnier.
Totally didn't quote Mean Girls there or anything. Psh no.
Anyways, don't be a hater. You wouldn't want a hater in your comments so don't be one. Or I'll personally set my mergoats on you while laughing evilly.
Next we have the follow alongs. These people are my favorites.
They follow along with the story and comment their reactions and thoughts on different lines and paragraphs. They do this:
"Omg no! He can't die!"
"lol same"
"Wait! Did they just kiss? Omg they did!"
Instead of this:
"Loved this chapter!"
"Good writing!"
"Update!"
Now don't get me wrong, I love when people comment saying they love my writing. But I love follow alongs because it means that they are actually reading and liking it!
Now we have the lovers. They basically do what I showed above.
They comment about how fantastic your writing is and beg for updates.
Now, these people are really sweet. But the screams for updates can be irritating af. Like I realize you love the story, but I have a life outside of Wattpad.
You know what, scratch the last part. I have no life. But I just wrote a chapter! I need time to write another. If you rush me, it won't be as good.
So that's the basics of all commenters. There are way more that are just as annoying and kind, but I'm too lazy to think of them.
Comment below yours favorite and least favorite commenters. And they don't have to be the ones I listed above.
