Schoolwork #13

Ok I had to make this rant, because I've been so stressed lately and oh jeez. Just last night I had so much work to do. I had to study for my twenty-seven question science quiz, sixty-four question science final, fifty-five question global studies final and do my five page packet math homework with is a review for the thirty question math test I have coming up. Along with that I had soccer from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. I was in tears because of how stressed I was.

Can you believe that school can do that to you? Make you so stressed that you try faking sick to stay home and study. I had to do all of that in the time spam of three hours, while getting a good night's rest.

School is awful. I'm not blaming the teachers because they have to give us all of that. They realize we have tons of homework in other classes. A bunch of people (including me) have asked them if they realize that and they say they know we have other classes and they have no choice but to give us all this work. It's the stupid school board or whatever runs the schools. They have no idea has stressful and time consuming all the stuff they give us can be.

Sometimes I'd rather break my leg then study for my ELA final. It's the worst feeling in the world knowing how much work you have to do all in one night or you'll fail! And some of the stuff they make us do is completely stupid as well.

In science I had to do a map, marking of the tectonic plates, plotting all the earthquakes, volcanos and mountains in the world and find all the trenches and mid ocean ridges. And what exactly does this teach us? How to plot? How to use different colored sharpies? Do you really think I'll remember all of this? Where all these plates and trenches are? Do you? Do you really? Because if you do then you're as dumb as you look, because I won't remember one single piece of crap that my science class teaches me.

It's useless. I hate it. A lot of people hate it as well. These school boards are making us do stuff that make us hate going to school. They always wonder why we hate it, but it's because of them. All they stuff they give us, make us hate it. They wonder why we always fall sleep or don't pay attention. Because even if we do go to bed early, we still have to wake up early to go to school. Your brain has some trouble processing stuff until after ten. We need more time to sleep, so we don't fall asleep in school and can actually do well.

I'm not saying these are the only reasons for all of this stuff, but they play a big roll. Ok, I should probably stop now or I'll have a whole book about all the fleas in our education system. Bye!
