The meaning of life is a question that will forever go unanswered with an answer held by some. The balance of Asphodel was set on a particular path created by the Gods in the Book of Asphodel. This book is said to hold each event of the worlds to eventually be executed like pawns on a chessboard. Only the Butterfly Spirit and the Satan have access to this book through the Yggdrasil. The Yggdrasil is the tree of life that acts as a bridge to the chosen leaders of the given realm. Asphodel acts as the balance between light and darkness but in recent times... Asphodel has fallen to the light, outcasting those of dark decent.
The Butterfly Spirit, being the leader of light, reigns over Asphodel as well as Nirvana. On the other end of the spectrum, the Satan reigns over Inferno.
Each leader that reigns will cast a conscript to fight for them when the prophecy is almost fulfilled. When the conscripts clash, they dance for the Gods and create a new page in the book of Asphodel. The page however only holds true if the events of the dance correlate to initial page.
Many lives would be lost during the war, the prophecy, the dance... every generation brings new death among the world sending those to rest and endlessly wander Asphodel Meadows until their soul is claimed in either Heaven or Hell.
