I didn't know where I was going. I just got into my car and drove. I rolled the windows down to let the cold wind blow some sense into my angry mind...I slammed on my brakes suddenly at a red light. The car behind me honked. I looked in the rear view mirror and noted the number plate as was practice.

*

A half hour later I parked in my favorite parks parking lot. Something about it calmed me. Maybe it was the fact that Christian and I met here for the first time. Fell in love here. Kissed here-

'Stop it Savannah! Since when are you so freaking emotional?'

I decided to go out and sit on my favorite bench. It was partially covered with weeds and flowers, nobody really sees it. But I had. And so had Christian.

*

It was pretty lonely. Sitting there looking out on the park. Everywhere I looked I saw couples either holding hands or making out. Living normal couple life. Ironic huh? I envied them. My love life was a mess. I wouldn't be surprised if it become non existent.

I let my mind wander back to the day I first met Christian.

He and I both reached the bench first. We looked at each other like we dared each other to sit down. When neither of us budged, we made the first move and again we did it at the same time. We were both exhausted to tell each other off. I was taking a five minute break from my early morning jog.

"Do you have water?" Christian had asked. I looked at him, sizing him up. Without a word I handed him my water bottle. He gulped it down and gave it to me. I nodded a 'no thankyou.'

"Whatchya listening to?"

"Songs."

"You aren't the talkative type are you. Its a wonder you even hear me through that amount of volume." he said and laughed. He left then after saying goodbye and handing me a business card that said 'Call me' in his handwriting.

I had thought of tearing it up into shreds then and there but something about him had made me keep it. And then a thought came to me, he had told me when we met later (after a few weeks) that he'd been running from crazy fans. I laughed remembering that. I didn't know when I had fallen in love with him but once his lips were on mine I just responded like it was normal.

We were sitting in the park on our bench watching the sun set. The sky was tinged peach. It was truly a beautiful view. Which was saying something.

"Don't stare at me like that." I said.

"All that training won't let me surprise or freak you out." he said as he grinned. I smiled. I had told him once I deemed him trustworthy that I was a spy. It was a shock to him at first but he got over it.

"But I am going to surprise you before the nights over, little guardian angel."

"Doubt it Christian. Doubt it." I replied not taking my eyes off of the sky. It was too beautiful to miss. As I was admiring its beauty, lips were on mine. I responded, truly surprised. I did take my eyes off of the sky then and stared into Christians blue eyes.

"Surprised?" he whispered. I nodded.

"Told ya!" he had said, then we both had burst out laughing.

I was cut short from my reverie when I caught movement in my periphery vision. And then a man was in front of me. With something that glinted in the moonlight.

I knew he was threat and so I responded.
