Rylei's POV:

As the darkness of the sky fills the out side and the light from the kitchen makes everything seem light and crisp. Carl and I enter the dinning room while everyone walks around putting things on the dinner table. Carl is laughing in my ear as I spin again, almost losing my balance. Carl's laugh blocks my memories of just a few hours ago and makes me feel happier. I laugh slightly as I try to walk over to the table without getting into anyone's way. The vibrations from Carl make there way threw my back and make me giggle slightly.

I set Carl down on a chair and my leg protests in pain as it burns threw out my whole limb. Andrea and Shane walk in with loud footsteps filling my ears. I make my way to a chair next to Carl. Andrea starts talking. "They should have been back by now." She says concerned.

I process what she is talking about when Shane speaks. "Yeah..." He takes a seat in the chair and Andrea moves to sit next to him. "They just probably got held up some where. Well head out, first thing in the mornin." He looks up at Patricia who is standing behind Andrea. "Thank ya." She nods slightly.

I take my seat next to Carl. I push myself closer to the table and look at the tea in front of me, along with the array of food that holds my sight. I can feel my stomach growls while I stare at the food. Carl turns his head towards me and giggles. I know he heard my stomach. I playfully glare at him. He smiles and turns back and looks at Shane.

I get an uneasy feeling when he makes eye contact with me and we look at each other for a few seconds. My stomach tightens and I want to throw up. I have chills that go down my spin. To break this intense stare off I look down at my plate and Shane starts to talk again.

"Carl, I want you to keep your head up, okay. Your old man is the toughest son of a bi-"

"No cussin in the house." Patricia cuts him of and she gives him a warning look. I snicker slightly and grab the bowl that is in front of me and start to pile on food. "Sorry." Shane blurts out with  humor filling his tone.

I hear footsteps to my left and turn to see Mag coming to the table. I give her a smile and she nods back and sits next to me.

"Lori, dinner!" Carol says behind me. "She's not in there." Mag interrupts her quickly. "Then where is she?" Dale asks from across the table. Mag turns and looks at me. I look at her confused. Where the hell is Lori?

"Carl, when was the last time you saw your mom?" Shane asks. "This afternoon."

This afternoon? She must have left after Daryl's and her little confrontation... I look at T with a worried expression, he looks back at me with the same expression.

"She was worried about Rick, asked me to look in on Carl." Andrea says.

"She went after them." I state, knowing she is gone.

"She didn't say that." Andrea shakes her head and looks around. I breath in deeply, already knowing she isn't here.

"Nobody panic." Shane says, throwing his napkin down and standing up. Carl does the same thing next to me. I look at Carl and his full attention now on Shane. I start to push my chair out and get up. My leg burns, but I ignore the pain.

"They gotta be around here some where." I  push in my chair. Shane walks past me quick. Everyone starts to get up now concerned. I look to T Dog. He is looking at me.
