When I wake up,I look outside. I see the sun coming up and the
leaves falling. Winter is close. We will need more supplies because some animals will go into hibernation.
I get up and pull my shirt on. it gets pretty hot in here because of a broken heater. It comes on whenever it wants. I go outside and see Will loading the truck. He turns around and smiles at me.
Will:Hey Aura. Wanna lend a hand?
Aura:Sure.
Me and Will load the truck up with guns and tarps covering them. We've snuck into Netho many times. We have a suit that a army man wears and that truck we got a few months ago. We work in a comfortable silence.
Will:How've you been holding up?
Aura:Okay I guess. Things get tough ya know. I don't think the world will ever be the same.
Will:It won't be the same as before. With someone like you in charge,it will be better.
I look up at him. He pats my hand and gets up in the cab. I go up and sit there too. It's just me and him so far. Ryan and Ty will be here in a few. Ty and Skuttle are the only ones who know how to drive.
Will:You're strong Aura. Whoever gets you in the end will be a lucky lad.
Aura:What do you mean?
Will:Whoever ends up with you,they will be a lucky man. You're an amazing girl Aura. You're strong,determined,confident,true,and you are truly beautiful.
He looks up at me and sheepishly smiles. I smile and nod my head in agreement.
Aura:Whoever gets you will be a lucky gal. You are all those things too. Wxcept handsome. Where are you from? You have a accent.
Will:Never thought you would notice. I was from a different continent. It's a long story.
I look around and see no one.
Aura:Looks like we got some time. Go on...
Will:Alrighty then. I'm from Europe. Born and raised in some parts there. When I was eight we came here. Moves to a town called Delin. Nice town. Every one knew each other and my life was awesomely great. Then this happened and Ryan and Carl ce and helped me. They were like brothers to me. I miss Carl a lot.
I look over at him am he has tears in his eyes. He acts so tough and never has time to mourn. I pat his shoulder and now I'm in a hug. I calm him down and he falls asleep with his head in my lap.
Ryan walks over with Ty and they get in. They take one look at me and Will then they are shaking him fiercely o wake up.
Aura:SHH! Leave him alone. He had a hard time today.
Ty:With what?!
Aura:You guys are being really rude. What's wrong with y'all?! Today was the first day he could actually cry over something. Just leave him alone.
They look at each other,surprised that I screamed at them.
Aura:Come on,lets go on to Netho. I want to get this over with.
Ryan:How about you and Will stay here? We can get the supplies by ourselves.
Aura:Do you have your walkie-talkie for if you get ino trouble?
Ryan:Yeah. See you later.
I get out and help Will to his house. Once he asleep there I walk over to Candy and Skuttle's house. I feel like this will be a long day.
