At the truck it's only us. The others aren't back yet. I get in the cab and sit with Will and Candy. Skuttle said he wanted to "keep watch." Keep watch mean to sulk around about everything that has happened. I don't "keep watch," I "take out the trash."
When I was little I said I was taking out the trash at night. I was really climbing the big tree in my back yard and would look at the stars. I thought up there and got my sane there. I wonder if that tree is still there?
I look up and see the others running to the truck. Ty quickly gets in and starts the engine. Army men are running out of the building wearing sophisticated army suits. They are shooting at us and my protective instincts kick in.
Aura:Will and Candy, get down on the floor.
They do what I say. I look around. Leo and Fiona are in the back of the truck shooting. Where is Skuttle?! I roll down the window and look around. I spot him in some bushes.
Aura:Pull up over there.
We go over there and Skuttle is about to get in when a bullet goes straight passed his head. Candy sticks her arm out the window and shoots. The person falls over dead. Skuttle is in now and we are driving off.
Aura:What did I tell you?!
Candy:I know. I had to though.
Aura:You just killed someone! You shouldn't have had to do that.
Candy:He deserved it.
Ty:Aura, just leave it alone.
I sigh and nod my head. She is a little girl and she just killed someone.
------THAT NIGHT-----
I'm siting in Will's house trying to read some book I found. I decided to come and "move in" with Will. I have nightmares all alone. Here if I get scared, Will comes and helps me.
I throw the book down and jump in bed. I sigh and close my eyes. I'll just go to sleep.
Dream
I see clouds all around me. I step on one slowly. It's soft and fluffy. I smile and walk around on them. I see a black rectangular box up ahead. I skip over to it and smile. This is great. I go up to the box and open the top.y face falls.
It's not a box...it's a coffin. Candy is in the coffin. No no no no. No!
I quickly turn around and see more coffins. Will, Ty, Skuttle, Fiona, everyone is in coffins. At the end Carl is in a coffin. Next is my family. At the end is Lane. I am crying now.
Two more coffins show up. One has Ryan in it and the other is empty. Who is supposed to be in there? I turn around and see two army men. They come towards me and push me in. Grayl is in the background laughing.
Grayl:My grandson has taken over. Soon, all of your friends will be here. Some of them even are.
He laughs and the coffin lid slowly closes.
Aura:No!
