A/N: Check out the new story I wrote called 'Sin'! It's a full Septiplier fic that I posted as a gift for the Holidays.

I was itching to take over Mark's body the next day to find out where Layla sent the book, I desperately wanted to dig into it. Jack and Mark had done cheesy, dumb shit all day - such as cuddling on the couch, doing little things for one another, and repeatedly complimenting one another, but I realized something while watching the couple. Jack tends to follow along Mark and does whatever asked by him - being entirely submissive. I was fascinated by his actions and attitude towards Mark. I enjoyed it, seeing it all through Mark's eyes. If I had someone of my own, we could be a power couple, but I'd want them to have some of Jack's qualities - or else they won't be as submissive as he is and will argue back with me. The biggest issue is that I can't fully have Jack unless I take him from Mark, but he'd experience heartbreak, something I can feel through him. I don't know how to get the best of both worlds, so I'm hoping the book will have some answers.

Mark glanced over and noticed Jack was asleep on him. He gently pushed him off, careful not to wake him up. He managed to get out of bed successfully without waking Jack and watched him for a moment, biting back a sigh. He left the bedroom and headed towards the bathroom, looking in the mirror. I knew he was going to talk to me, but he remained silent for a moment, studying his face in the reflection. I changed his eyes black briefly to alert him that I wanted to talk to him, though it startled him for a moment.

"What do you want, Dark?" He asked finally and watched his reflection, where he could see me talking through his body. To him, it looked and felt as though the person in the mirror wasn't him, but rather me, talking to him.

"A friend is sending me a book and all I know is that it's coming today. I was hoping I could reach out to his wife, who's sending it to me - he sent the number to your phone," I explained, not wanting to tell him the purpose of the book. I know he'd kick me out if he knew I wanted to create a partner for myself - it'd be a new demon in his life, who'd never leave. Relationships only work if the demon loves the human partner and their true partner and the human loves the demon's partner and their own. I know he's not open-minded enough to welcome a new demon into his life and Jack's, knowing the other demon would have to be emerged with Jack's soul - something that could kill him.

"Well... I suppose you can now, considering Jack's asleep," He sighed and I felt him giving into me, letting me take over gradually, showing he wasn't sure about my actions.

"I promise you'll have your body back before Jack wakes up," I swore and he hesitated.

"Are you sure?" He asked, wanting to be sure I wouldn't talk to Jack. He didn't fully understand that he'd have to tell him about me eventually if he was serious about their relationship.

"Yes, I'm sure. It won't take that long," I pushed and he gave me full control of his body.

'If Jack wakes up, don't say anything about who you are and give me control immediately,' He thought, not having the power to speak anymore.

"Thanks, Mark," I said, then blocked him from his senses, putting his soul into a sleep-like state, not wanting to freak him out with the book. I pulled out his phone and went to his messages, calling the number Aamon gave me. I pressed the phone to my ear, hearing it ring.

"Hello?" A woman asked upon answering.

"Hi, this is Dark, Aamon's friend," I introduced myself.

"Ah, Dark! Yes, he told me you might call. Are you still interested in the book?" She asked.

"Yes," I simply replied, nodding, though knowing she couldn't see me.

"Okay. Sending stuff from Hell to Earth isn't too difficult if you know what you're doing, which I do. Are you by a mirror?" She asked as I remembered mirrors are portals to Hell. I spent more time on Earth than in Hell, so I didn't have much knowledge on how anything worked. I preferred staying with Mark than being with fellow demons.

"Yes. Will you be visiting as well or just popping through to drop off the book?"

"Just dropping off the book, don't worry, I know you're with humans and don't wish to concern them," She said, then she appeared in the mirror before me, smiling at me, book in hand. Her arm came out of the window, handing me the book. I took it and cradled it in my arms.

"Thanks, Layla, I appreciate the help."

"Anytime. Feel free to pop by whenever you'd like, it'd be nice visiting you again, Dark," She smiled, then disappeared. I left the bathroom, heading to the living room with the book in my hands, caressing it's bindings.

"Mark?" A small, tired voice said, distracting me from the book. I quickly changed Mark's eyes back to normal, but didn't want to give his body back. I hid the book in the couch cushion and turned around, smiling at Jack, who looked as though he just woke up.

"Hey, sweetheart. What're you doing up so soon?" I asked sweetly, trying to portray Mark perfectly, which seemed to work.

"I guess I realized you left and it woke me up," He yawned cutely and came up to me, hugging me tightly. I hugged back, careful not to squeeze him too hard.

"Awe, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you. How about you go back to bed and I'll be in there in a few minutes, okay?" I suggested and he nodded.

"Okay," He kissed me softly, then gave a small smile, before leaving. My lips tingled after he left and I touched my lips with my fingers. I've never been so in love.
