Chapter 1

Kai's POV

My alarm started blaring out Move by Little Mix making me jump out of bed. I was so excited for today since it was me and Nathan’s 1 year anniversary. Yes Nathan Skyes from The Wanted. I don’t understand why everyone hates them so much, they make really good music and are all really nice. It’s mainly because of One Direction I guess. (look at bottom bit) All of the directioners hate the boys and say that Nathan looks like a sloth. He does not. At all. Nathan is the best boyfriend in the world and I don’t think that I’ve ever met someone as nice and loving as him. I just realised, I should probably introduce myself! I’m Kai Noelle Poynter. Yes, Dougie Poynter, the guitarist from Mcfly, is my older brother. The rest of Mcfly are also like my older brothers. They were the ones who first introduced me to Nathan and the others. I am so glad that they did. And since Dougie and the rest of them all already knew Nathan they already liked him! Yay! They are all extremely over protective of me even though I’m 19. Anyways, me and Nathan were introduced to each other at a movie premiere and then we hit it off from there. We started to hang out loads and became best friends. Then, a year ago today, Nathan asked me to be his girlfriend and, of course, I excepted. I had only had a few little relationships before Nathan so it was all new to me really. But Nathan was better than anything I could have asked for. I loved him. As today was our anniversary, I guessed that Nathan had prepared a surprise for me so I just decided to change into some casual, comfy clothes and wait for him to tell me what we were doing. I lived by myself in a small flat with just 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and lounge but it was really cute and cosy. Nathan came and stayed round quite often and so did my friends and brother. I had a shower and blow dried my hair. I then walked into my wardrobe to pick out my outfit. I blasted my music and started dancing round to some Union J. I absolutely loved their music! I was singing my heart out while getting ready. Since it was January it was pretty cold. I needed to look really cute since the paparazzi followed us everywhere and if anything with your outfit was wrong they would pick on it. Obviously I had gotten used to the paparazzi and hate because I was Dougie’s little sister. Since Mcfly became big I had been followed, mobbed hated on and it had all gotten even worse since I started dating Nate (a/n Nate is gonna be Nathan’s nickname). Before I met him I started to get really bad and believe half of the stuff the fans said. But luckily enough Danny noticed since I started to become a lot more depressed and him and everyone else helped me. I was lucky enough to have such nice friends and family. Anyways, I grabbed some bright turquoise jeans, my 5 Seconds Of Summer t-shirt cause I mean why wouldn’t I want to wear that and a black hoody. I slipped it on and looked at my reflection. Cute! The song changed to Heartbreak Girl by 5SOS. YAY! This is my jam. I started dancing around my room singing along to the lyrics. I'm so happy I live alone. I sat down at my dressing table and applied my makeup. Just a little bit of mascara, eyeliner and lip-gloss. I'm not too fond on loads of makeup. I put my little silver locket with a picture of me and Nate in it that he got me for our 6 month anniversary. I put on my charm bracelet that I got for my 18th birthday and a few other little bracelets and wristbands. I just brushed my curly blond hair and straightened it a little bit. Yay, I'm done! I checked my phone and saw a message from Nathan.

Nathan :* xx: Good morning babe! Hope you slept well :* xxx

Oh, just the good morning text he sent every day. Oh ok. He probably didn’t forget, maybe he was just going to tell me later on. 

(later that day)

I was still at home. At 8:00pm. I had been home all day. I had changed my outfit about 4 times and now I was back to the one I started with. I redid my hair and makeup in case he called me and asked me out at night. I had just been sitting at home. I had ordered takeaway for dinner and watched about 10 movies just in case he called. When it got to 12pm, as that was officially the end of our anniversary, I finally decided to go to bed. He was going to be in some deep shit tomorrow.
