***Cutscene***

It began with a beach

It began with a beach.

There, a boy was playing with his older brother, and both were having fun. It was fine - wavy, but calm. The older brother scanned the sea for wild Pokemon, in fear for a wild Gyrados, but it was clear - crystalline.

The younger brother yelled for him to join him, because he was going to make the biggest sandcastle the world had ever seen.

"Hold on!" The older brother yelled, watching the sun glint over the water - and watching a girl he'd been eyeing for years. She didn't know he stared at her the way he did, didn't know he'd wanted to say hi for years...and now, now he was going to change that. He was happy - his brother was busy, he was having a great time...

And so he moved to the girl, swam to her, and popped out of the water, grinning. She was a swimmer - a great one. He was, too.

She was startled - he, red-faced, apologized quickly.

And then when he heard his brother scream, he turned, seeing a red shovel fly--

And his brother's body slip into the ground.

The older brother started swimming as fast as he could - he ran to the sand castle, panting, struggling. His brother--his brother's hand, disconnected--

The sand castle swayed, two window-eyes turning to look at the boy.

He grabbed the shovel, moving to destroy the castle--

And then he joined into the pile of bones below as well.

The girl followed.

So did three others.

***

The emergency signal rings around the city.

"This is an emergency message from the Pokemon Protection Agency - there have been new species of Pokemon sprouting up all around the world, many of which are extremely dangerous. We urge you to stay inside until we have more information."

And so people rush inside, afraid - something's changed. Something's gone...wrong.

It's up to the Trainers to see what happened...and to fix it.

***

IN THE LAST CHAPTER, characters entered the maze, and things got...freaky fast. Many were split up, many were freaking out, and just as some characters got towards the end of the maze, once they saw the tower...

They re-appeared at the beginning, memories twisted.

One group remembers managing to find a person that was trapped within the walls, and they freed that person...only for him to be killed.

It was a failure.

The cameras didn't work there - it was a complete, abject failure.

SINCE THE LAST CHAPTER, things have returned to a relatively normal (albeit busy) schedule. Characters haven't had much time to talk; it's just been mission after mission, grind after grind. Their scores haven't mattered too much - it's been tense. Silent. A low point in ratings. Still, those who are doing great are doing great, and those who are low are low. Things have stabilized - until now.

(These rankings are more based off drama than skill. Room assignments haven't changed.)

Tier 1: 1) Eris  2) Zephyr, 3) Cressa, 4) Zerahm, 5) Darlene

Tier 2: 6) Marco, 7) Haruka, 8) Jewel, 9) Ari, 10) Abriel,

Tier 3: 11) Rhyder, 12) Codi, 13) Audrey, 14) , 15) Sage

IMPORTANT!

Pokemon have jumped a few levels; about 3-8 apiece [max 20 levels in total]. Also, some characters may have 1 more Pokemon added to their team!

The scoreboard is about the same as it was; I'll probably post it soon!

Now we're introducing Aloha Pokemon! Yes, I figured it'd be an exciting addition. In case it isn't clear, the pokemon that ate the people in the cutscene was Paleosand - it's new. Check it out. It's kinda freaky. Along with the others.

This also means that characters can get Aloha Pokemon! [hooray!] Ask if you have any questions and I'll tag everyone once this is all updated!

NOW, characters are around their city, doing their own thing - some are at press conferences, some are modeling, acting, training, etc - they can be doing whatever makes sense for them. Those with high scores will be more popular, and will thus be more likely to be out and talking with people and such. Please explain what your characters' lives have been like for the last few weeks and whatnot.

The emergency signal has been sent out, so the characters will get coordinates to go to the location where they'll have the first mission in the last 3 weeks - since their failure.

Good luck.

They don't know what the mission details are, only that it's located at the beach.
