"Wait lemme get this straight. You tried to fight Neji Hyuga?" Ryota asks after swinging his sword at a tree and making a pretty impressive mark in the tree. His swords skills have defiantly got better over the years. About six years ago he couldn't even lift his sword as he was scared that he would injure himself by accident. Now he wields the sword with grace and ease.

His appearance makes you think that he's this big trouble maker, when in reality he's very calm and collected. I do understand what makes people think that he's trouble, and it's his red hair and gold eyes. It is an odd combination but that's a common trait in the Yachiyo clan.

Their clan is very well known in sword skills. Everyone in that clan is exceptionally good at handling a sword or any blade. It's what they were trained to do since they learned how to walk. I do remember watching Ryota train with his brother when they were younger before we got kicked out of the village.

Ryota's brother is an ANBU. He's gone longer than Shiamo is, which really sucks for Ryota considering that them two are very close. They would share everything, train together, always waiting for each other after the academy. It was really nice to see with them acting so well together.

"It wasn't much of a fight." I admit and keep looking up at the sky as I was laying on my back on the ground. So his last name was Hyuga. He's from the clan who posses the Byakugan.

"Why didn't he just use his Byakugan on you to tell that you had no chakra?" Ryota asks me. He was still swinging his sword, and to me it all looked pointless as he was just waiving it around in the air.

Ryota is different than most people. Normally when they would have a day off from training, he would train on his own. He really just wants to become powerful and be able to protect what he cares about. I know he's smart, but he doesn't really apply his intelligence to his fighting.

"Well actually I know I have some chakra, but it's probably not enough to do anything with it." I explain and keep looking up at the sky. If there was one thing that Ryota did not know about me it's what my mother did when she died. How could I tell him when my mother and his father were best friends? After all they both were on the same squad when they graduated from the academy.

My mother met Nobuo, Ryota's father, in the academy. They quickly became friends as they were one of the few kids in their class who could actually accomplish anything. Nobuo was skilled when it came to weapons, and my mother was very skilled in her ninjutsu.

For as much as people like to say we were a weak clan, my mother did prove them wrong. She was just as strong as every other ninja there, better even. Her chakra was unbelievably strong, and she had so much of it. I know Shiamo tells me otherwise just because he didn't know mother's true power, but I could sense it. I knew she was an excellent shinobi just from watching her train with Nobuo.

They still trained together after they became jounin just to make sure that they could keep up with one another, and so that they were ready for battle at any moment. When they would train Nobuo would come out to our village, with Ryota sometimes, and my mother and him would train right where we were at. Right in the place where I come to try and train.

"Hey Myano. What's your dream?" Ryota asks out of no where. He stopped swinging his sword and looked at the tree where he made marks at previously.

"Why do you ask?" I question and sit up so I can look at him.

"I was training with Kazuo again and he asked me what my dream was. What made me want to become a ninja and train so hard. So I told him I wanted to become such a great swordsman that I can protect people with just my sword, nothing else." Ryota explains and turns around to look at me. "But I want to know what your dream is."
