I was knocked to the ground by Hayate who was standing in a tree nearby. He must have landed there after he jumped to follow me. I did jump from tree to tree in order to get at a higher point to get an advantage over him. 

His training was vigorous. There were bruises and scratches all over my body as I've been gaining them over a while from our training. I will admit that I was unsure of his ability to train me seeing how young he was, but he is an excellent teacher. His advice on my taijutsu is helping me improve greatly, seeing as how Hamamatsu is terrible at taijutsu. Throw one punch at him and he runs away and hides somewhere. It's clear that he is a long distance fighter. 

"Smart thinking on getting to a higher point, but just make sure that your enemy isn't aware of that next time." Hayate says and holds his hand out to help me up. I take it and he pulls me up to my feet. "You're definitely getting stronger, there's no doubt. How is your ninjutsu training coming along?" he asks me. 

"I have been trying to learn mostly on my own, but it's coming along slowly." I lie. Hamamatsu and I are keeping my ninjutsu training a secret since he is teaching me. He told me to keep the fact that I possess a Kekki Touta a secret because it will just make me a target to others. 

"That's fine. Some shinobi don't master their first jutsu until they're already a genin. You're still just learning the basics, but if you ask me you'll be ready to take the test to become a genin anytime soon. Just keep practicing those two jutsus you need." he tells me and takes a sip of his water from his canteen. 

I need to master the transformation jutsu and the clone jutsu, which I already have done. Those were the first two jutsu I was taught since I need those if I ever go into a fight. I know that becoming a genin wont be a problem since I have the basic skills I need down. For instance my shuriken accuracy has improved to eighty-four percent when it was only at about seventeen percent before I started training with Hayate. 

"Okay. I try to practice them every night and they're improving, but I just need to keep practicing. If I do I should be able to have them down in a week." I tell Hayate. What I really need practice on is my taijutsu since I haven't had much training in that ever. 

"Well that's great news because the graduation of the academy students is in one week. I may be able to pull some strings so that I can try and have you take the test and graduate with the other students." he explains to me and sits on the ground and catches his breath. 

"But aren't I two years younger than the ones who are about to graduate?" I question as I'm pretty sure that's what the deal is. Ryota is thirteen and is graduating in a week. I'm only eleven and if I took the test that would make me younger than anyone in that class. 

"Yes, but age doesn't matter. It's your skill. Plus Itachi Uchiha graduated when he was seven so I'm sure they would let you graduate at eleven with your skill." Hayate reassures me. I nod and stretch out my arms. It was starting to get dark out which meant it would be dangerous to stay out any longer. 

I was about to ask Hayate another question when I hear rustling in the bushes. There was a kunai in my hand instantly and ready to use at any moment. Hayate was on his feet with his sword ready to attach who or whatever was there. 

"Whoa guys! What's with the sword and knife?" Kotetsu asks as he walks out of the bushes. Hayate and myself both let out a sigh of relief as he approaches us. 

"We thought you were an enemy. It is night and you didn't show up earlier." Hayate explains as he sheaths his sword and I put my knife away. 

"Sorry. I was helping out Izumo." Kotetsu says and someone else comes out from the bushes. It was another leaf shinobi who looked around the same age as Kotetsu. 

"What the hell Kotetsu? She was supposed to stay between us two and nobody else. Why did you tell Izumo?" Hayate asks and I keep looking at Izumo. He looks like he doesn't really do much as he was just standing there waiting on Kotetsu to do something. 

While Kotetsu and Hayate were arguing I decided to talk to his guy since he now knows about me and there was no escaping it. "So you're a friend of Kotetsu?" I ask and walk up to him. 

"Yeah, he's my best friend actually." Izumo tells me as he keeps his hands in his pockets and his body relaxed. 

"What rank are you?" I ask.

"Chunin, same as Kotetsu." he says and just looks down at me as I keep asking him questions. 

"What chakra nature are you?" I ask and wait for him to say earth. I could sense that he was an earth type shinobi due to the way his chakra feels.

"Water." He says and looks down at me. How was I wrong? I thought he was definitely an earth style user.

"Oh okay." I say and shrug it off before taking another sip from my canteen.

"You're a lighting user. Your charka screams it when I sensed it earlier." Izumo explains and smiles a little at me. 

"I hate to break it to you but I'm also a water style user." I say and so a simple water jutsu to prove it. 

"Well lookie there. I guess were alike in a way." he says and sits down on the grass and watches as Hayate and Kotetsu keep arguing. It was funny to see them like this since neither of them really know that they're arguing about anymore. 

Hamamatsu walks over and sits in my lap since he was in cat form and meows at me. I pet his head softly and also listen in on the argument. 

"Are you going to take the genin test as Kotetsu has been telling me?" Izumo asks.

"Yeah I want to. It's a dream of mine to become a jounin and prove the leaf village wrong." I tell him. "I want to prove that the Sachiko clan wasn't a waste of space in the village and how we are valued." 

"Well why didn't you guys just move to another nation and settle there?" he asks. 

"After my parents died, my brother was appointed head of our clan and we decided to stay here since he was a chunin at that point. He didn't want to leave the village and become a rogue ninja." I explain to Izumo.

"Makes sense. Well from what Kotetsu tells me you will become a great shinobi. He speaks highly of you."

"I hope I can become a great shinobi. I will prove Kotetsu right. Just you watch." I say and continue to watch Kotetsu argue with Hayate.
