Hamamatsu was teaching me how to use a water style jutsu that seemed to be at the jounin level since I've managed to master all the jutsus that he taught me already. I was learning the Water Dragon Jutsu and it was very powerful due to the way I could tell how much of my chakra it was using.
Over the past few months I've managed to master quite a collection of jutsus, some of each the chakra elements I possess. Mainly I've learned water style because it comes in handy fighting with fire style users and that there are not that many powerful lightning style ninjas that can use water as an advantage against me.
I've been training hard trying to get my jutsus perfect and make sure that I can still do the basic clone jutsu and substitution jutsu so that I can be learning somewhat of what the kids in the academy are learning, and so far I think I'm doing pretty good.
"You've almost got it. You just need to focus more and not let anything disturb your concentration. Focus on what you're doing and not what's going on around you." Hamamatsu explains and keeps leaning against a tree and chewing on a long piece of grass. I take what he says and apply it to what I was doing and concentrate.
Accurately and swiftly I weave the hand signs and feel my chakra drain from my body. "Water style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" I say and aim for the target tree that I've been using, and the jutsu works perfectly. The water rises out from the river I have been using to supply the water for my jutsus, and takes the shape of just the head of a dragon, while the rest of the body looked like a water cyclone. When the water hits the tree it was drenched.
"Myano that was perfect!" Hamamatsu exclaims and jumps up in excitement. Every time I master a jutsu he gets very excited and acts like a proud parent. It was nice to have someone praise me for how hard I have been training. The time and effort I have put into this is unreal. I've never focused on one thing so hard before, and I like the amount of time this takes. I'm hardly ever at my house now because I'm always out training.
"Good. Now onto the next jutsu." I say and try to catch my breath as I feel my chakra is almost gone. Doing these jutsus over and over again sure can tire one out as all my focus and strength is going towards this.
"I think you should relax for a little. You've been trying to master that jutsu for a couple hours now with no breaks, and you haven't eaten anything today." Hamamatsu explains and walks towards me. I know he's right, but I just want to master all water jutsu while I can so I can start learning lightning jutsus. That's what I'm really excited for.
"No I'm okay. What's the next jutsu?" I ask and stand up straight ready for my next lesson. As soon as I do stand straight I feel this wave of tiredness come over me. My body feels weak and like I could just drop at any moment, but I can't let that stop me. It wont stop me. It wont.
"Myano I really think-"
"I don't care Hamamatsu. Just teach me the next jutsu." the anger in me takes over as I speak to Hamamatsu. He's done nothing but help me get stronger and make sure that I was okay, and the way I repay him is by being rude and brutal towards him. He deserves none of what I am giving him.
"Your friend is right." someone says from a tree near us. The thing was that I recognize that voice, and I hardly ever talk to anybody. I look around and see nothing, but my sensory skill are weak as my chakra is still low. "You should rest. If you don't you'll end up overdoing it and hurting yourself." they state and finally decide to reveal themselves. When they do I immediately knew who it was.
"Neji. What are you doing here?" I ask. Last time he was here he fought me just because I wouldn't tell him my name, and now he comes back here to what...talk?
"I just came to check in." he says standing a few yards away from me and glances over at Hamamatsu who turned back into his cat form.
"Why? You said I didn't pose as a threat to the village, so why are you really out here?" I ask, suspicious of him now. The way his body was relaxed definitely tells me that he does not want to fight me again.
