Recap: "This human world is one I'll never understand. One thing is for sure though, I'll have Wanda explain it to me."
Prince POV
The next morning Wanda didn't come. I was waiting ever so patiently but she didn't show up. I wonder where she is. Andrew didn't even show up either. Well one thing's for certain that Wanda may be in trouble.
I rush up to my kennel door, hey I did get Wanda to explain things to me, and tried to unlatch it. I kept at it until it finally did come unlatched. So I open the door and ran into Wanda's room. It was empty.
Where did she go? I know she was never to leave this place. Well I guess I'll check where all of the other animals are and maybe she's there. I went into room after room and still so sign of Wanda. All of a sudden I hear a strange sound and I ran back into my kennel and shut myself in.
Wanda appeared with Andrew and some complete strangers.
"You caught us at a break though. You see the wolf in that kennel he is our latest project and triumph."
All the newcomers did was stare at me and jotting down something. I just stared at them and then pawed at the ground.
"What is this creature doing?"
"This is part of his training he is indicating that he wants something."
"So he can't speak yet."
"That's right but soon he will I just know it."
"Well that's why the tax payers are paying for this and not us."
They left to go to the other animals and I waited for them to return. When they did I scratched at the door.
"Now what is that thing doing?"
"Please it's a wolf and I think he needs to be taken out so if you'll excuse me."
So Wanda took me outside.
"Finally some fresh air. I'm sorry Wanda but those people I just couldn't stand it any longer."
"Sorry Prince but they are the ones who pull the strings and that expression means that they control our actions."
"Control nothing they force like an opposing pack to fight."
"Well not exactly but it was a good shot at that."
"Well anyway I did have to go so don't mind me."
After I was finished with my business we went back inside.
"Wanda if you please."
Wanda POV
"Yes sir."
I took Prince and placed him on the examination table and waited for Andrew to get the formula.
"This is the last formula dose that you get. Hopefully it will work on you."
All he did was hang his head. I tried to comfort him but it proved useless.
"Hold him now. That's it. This time we are going to make him drink it for a more absorptive approach."
As the inspectors watched Prince drink the formula, he was starting to relax. Then after he drank what Andrew gave him he then like normal feinted.
"Now then Wanda please return him and while we wait for its effects let us go over the agendas and schedules."
After a boring meeting I heard whimpering. Prince must be up and hungry so as I went over to his cadge. I then screamed but then regretted it.
Prince POV
When I woke up I was in so much pain that I couldn't move. No matter how hard I tried I just can't. I wanted Wanda but I knew that if I spoke then I would be in trouble. I whimpered. Then I heard someone come. It was Wanda; she took one look at me then screamed.
I looked at her and I couldn't tell why she did that. I wanted to ask her but then the others showed up.
"What an amazing breakthrough!"
The strangers just looked surprised and happy. Wanda on the other hand looked like she was going to cry. I decided it was time to talk but briefly and just to Wanda.
"What's wrong? Why do you look like that? I'm still me."
"No you changed, here look into this and see why I said that."
I looked into the shiny object she held before me and I found out why she screamed.
