Recap: "Sleep and I'll protect you my precious."
Wanda POV
Bright, glistening light is all I could see. This storm of dark clouds threatens to cover that beautiful light I see. The light I know depicts Prince as my only solace here in life. The dark cloud of hate depicts Andrew's reaction to the situation. All I know is that I'm happy with the time I spend with Prince and don't want to leave his side.
With me now being his I had to consider some things. The fact that he is still a wolf remains as a difficult point to talk about. I know that Andrew now will do all in his power to make the formula Prince drank to do a reverse effect. By doing this he will then make Prince into a much wild animal than what he has ever been.
The second thing that I am most worried about is Andrew's reaction to the knowledge about what Prince did to me last night, not that I didn't like it. He may now try to be more persistent to kill Prince now more than ever. I hope that, that doesn't happen. What's a girl to do to protect those she loves?
"Wanda is there something wrong?"
"No I just can't sleep."
"That painful?"
"No I'm fine but I have a lot on my mind."
"I see well anyway that idiot is back so you might as well get presentable."
"Do I have to?"
"Unless you wish him to see you as you are now."
"On second thought I'll get dressed."
It took me about a few seconds but I was presentable enough. Then sure enough I heard the entrance door slam and I quickly scurried from the room and acted busy.
"I see you're getting an early morning start."
"I was awake anyway."
"So how is the test subject in the boardroom?"
"He was asleep when I checked in there but you're more than welcome to look again."
"No I don't think so he never did like me."
"Like I didn't know that."
"Say something?"
"No you're just hearing things."
"Well anyway you check on him again."
"Very well but what if he's changing?"
"Never mind go check on the cardiac patients and I'll check on our greatest achievement."
I did as I was told and I was wondering how Prince would react.
Prince POV
After Wanda left I felt constricted in this small room. It was like the walls are closing in on me. Before I go crazy I decided to make myself decent just in case Andrew decided to let Wanda check in on me. I got a shock instead. Andrew just waltzed right on in without knocking.
"Wow you really are changing."
"No I thought I was a stripper."
"Enough of your childish antics."
"Excuse me over observant one."
"Enough! Now then today we will start with the reverse formula. If you turn back into0 a wolf by the end of this day there will be no more tests and we'll release you back into your chopped down forest. Wanda would then be much happier without you."
"How do I know you won't turn on your word? Secondly are you sure that Wanda would truly be happy with just you? Third what happens if I don't?"
"I swear on everything I hold holy. Secondly she is in love with me and tends to avoid you. Third we will continue with the reverse formula until you do."
"You also said that my forest was cut down."
"Yes it is."
"How can I return if I have no home to return to?"
"Exactly I have no intention of letting you go you best but if you do manage to escape from here you'll have nowhere to run to."
"Yes I do you just don't know about it."
"Oh really, well then, WANDA GET YOUR LAZY BUTT IN HERE NOW!"
"You screamed?"
"Get the subjects procedure ready and on the double."
"Very well," then she left the room.
"Now then I'll let you stay here until you're tormented in agony."
After he said that I was left all alone. His words haunted me. I now know why Wanda was so stressed when he was here. She even has to fight off his advances. Man what's a guy to do when his mate is in trouble?
