Chapter 19

I HAVE DECIDED TO STICK WITH LOVE; HATE IS TOO GREAT BURDEN TO BEAR- MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

I try to sleep. But I just end up turning and tossing myself on the bed. "Beth" I call. She doesn't respond. I turn to see her sleeping peacefully. Eventually I feel my eyes closing.

"Hey Oli"Cam comes in front of me blocking my path.

"What do you want Cam. Why can't you leave me alone. What have I done to you. I told you I won't tell your secret to anyone" I shout.

"There, there. Don't get yourself all worked up and try to act bitchy now." He pushes the strand of hair on my face and tucks it behind my ears.

"Don't touch me"I shout.

He grabs me by my waist and pulls me close to him. His body stiffens against mine. He brings his lips near my ears and "You are mine baby. I'll do whatever I want with you" he says in his mocking tone.

He slowly places a kiss on my lips. His hand moves under my shirt and moves up. I am shocked by what he is doing and push him away.

"Stop" I shout and sit up. It's not real. It's just a nightmare.

"Oli. You okay. What happened?" Beth says as she sits next to me.

"Ya. I'm fine. It's just a nightmare" I say.

"Come here" she says and hugs me. I start to cry on her shoulder.

"It's gonna be fine." She comforts me.

I lie down and she pulls the blanket over me.

"Just don't think about anything. Go to sleep. " She says and goes to sleep. I eventually doze off.

The sun light falls on our faces making both of us groan. It's high time I change rooms with Amy.

"Wake up sleepy heads" Em shouts.

"What are you doing here Em?"I ask.

"Why? Are you not happy that I'm here" she pouts.

"Hey. I'm sorry didn't mean to be rude" I say.

"I know, your mom invited us. Leo and Harry are waiting downstairs. We are going out today. Because you don't know anything about Pasadena, we are taking you around the city" she smiles and walks out.

"We'll be down soon" I say jumping out of my bed

We both get ready and go down. Leo, Harry and my dad are sitting at the dinning and talking.

" Hey Beth" Amber hugs her.

"Hey Amy. Look at you girl, grown up into a pretty girl" Beth smiles.

"Thanks Beth. You look pretty amazing too. That long hair suits you" Amber smile.

"Aww thank you Amy" she hugs her again.

We walk to the table. "Breakfast?" My mom ask.

"It's okay we'll be having it outside" I say and pick up my bag. They all stand to leave. There is a knock on the front door. Amy runs to open it. The sight before me almost makes me throw up.

"Are you guy going somewhere without us" Cam smiles.

"What do you want Cam" Harry shouts.

"Oli" he says coming to me.

I could sense the atmosphere tensing around me.

"Cameron, it's been a long time" my mom comes out of the kitchen with my dad. I just stand there staring at Cam. Behind him Jay is standing and looking at me.

"Mrs. Anderson." He smiles at mom.

"May I know why you here Cameron. I don't think this is right place for you to be, after all the trouble my daughter had to go through because of you. You still have the guts to stand in front of me" My dad voice turns serious.

"Mr. Anderson. I don't mean any trouble. I know what I put your daughter through for almost a year. But trust me, which I know, no one in this room right now does. I won't hurt your daughter. I will prove it to you that I want to amend my mistakes and not make anything worse." He confesses.

Is this Cam.Where is the Cam I know. The one who loves trouble making. What has he done to him. I almost laugh at his words. I am definitely not buying that act.

"Why did you drag me here" Jay mumbles.

"We are hanging out. As friends. Come on let's go" Cam turns around.

Dad grabs his hands. "I see one drop off tear in her eyes because of you, I'm gonna put a restraining order before I kill you" my dad shouts.

"Dad" I pull him back.

"Guys can you wait outside" I say and they all walk out.

"Dad. Now I don't want you to go all overprotective on me. Just calm down. I'll manage it." I hug him.

" You can't tell what he is capable of. The last thing I want is to see my daughter fighting for her life in the hospital again. Going through nightmares again" his voice becomes low.

"Dad, I'm not that little girl anymore. Trust me. I can handle this."

Can I ? How am I gonna manage the two crazy brothers. But atleast it will stop my dad from freaking out.I walk out and see them waiting for me near the car. Beth and Harry are coming in Harry's car. Leo and Em are driving in Em's car. Jay got his car. I was about to get into my car.

"I'll drive with Oli" Cam opens the passenger door and gets in.

"What?". I and Jay shout together. I see Jay's body shift uncomfortably. He doesn't look happy.

"You are not coming with me. Who on earth asked you to come here. Get out of my car Cam" I shout.

"I'll also come with you" Jay blurts.

What is it with these two. They are getting on my last never.They are acting like kids right now and it is irritating me.

"What the hell Jay. You have your car" I shout.

"Oh..ah it's not starting." He stammers.

"What the hell is wrong with both of you. Can't I have a peaceful life. I try my best to stay away from the both of you, and you have to come and ruin it for me." I shout.

"Why you getting all feisty baby-doll" Cam mocks.

"You brothers bring out the worst in me. And stop calling me that, jerk" I shout.

"It's not that I'm interested in hanging out with you anyways" Jay shouts and gets into his car and drives off.

"Jay,wait. "I shout but he drives fast.

"I guess I'm with you then" Cam smiles.

"Cam just shut up and get in. Don't speak a word. I can't believe I'm with a guy who almost killed me" I shout. Beth looks at me. It's the 'are you gonna be fine' look. I nod at her and we drive. I just have to handle him for few more hours. I can do it.
