The beautiful sound of birds chirping, the bright rays of the sun wakes me up.  The day seems so different.If I say it's good, that is just an understatement. I am not a morning person, but this morning I feel amazing.

I take a shower for what feels like forever, singing along with the song playing on my phone. I put on my woolen full sleeve shirt and baggy pants. I hop my way to the kitchen.

"Someone seems to be cheerful today." Amber looks at me confused to see how I'm smiling early in the morning rather than growling which I do every day.

"Why, is it a crime to be happy for once" I rise my eyebrows at her.

"Nope" she says.

"It's not like you. For someone who isn't a morning person, surprisingly you seem happy. You know what I'm happy to see you happy" she jumps off the couch and hugs me.

"Okay, my sweet little Amy bear. Love you too" I hug her back.

"Where are mom and dad" I ask looking around searching for my parents.

"The left early to Melbourne. Some case work" she says as she switches channels on TV.

"So how's your boyfriend" I search her face for an expression, and she blushes.

"Wait. That means he actually asked you out and you said yes. And you officially you are in a relationship." I blurt with happiness.

"Okay slow down. And yes to everything you just blurt out" she squeals.

"Wow. Amy how old are you? Sixteen and in love" I sing.

" Just like how you fell in love when you were sixteen" at those words memory flood in my brain. But I don't frown, I smile. It's the past. I am happy what it has given to me now.

"I'm sorry. Shouldn't have brought that up" she gives a sad smile.

"Hey it's okay. I'm happy you brought that up. It just makes me realize how much I have, because of what happened. A sweet sister who loves and protects me. Amazing parents who understands me. Out of the world crazy friends who would die to put a smile on my face. It's alright to bring that up" I smile.

"Aww. I love you. So proud of you. I wanna be just like you when I grow up." She squeezes me again in a hug.

"No I want you to be you. You are  amazing just the way you are" I smile.

"Thank you Oli. And whom did you just quote" she asks as I walk to the kitchen.

"I have no idea. But I read that somewhere" I say taking out an egg.

"Egg scramble" I ask her.

"Perfect. Can I have pancakes and maple syrup too" she shouts.

"Sure." I say and prepare breakfast.

We eat and talk about different things when there is a knock on the door. Amy opens it.

"Amy, who's there" I ask as I wash the dishes.

"It's your boyfriend" she shouts.

"Wha-" I stop as I come out to see Jay.

"Amy" I glare at her and she laughs at me.

"Hi, come on in".

"Hi, you busy" he asks.

"No. Why"

"Just wanna take you somewhere".

"Oh come on. For once I get to talk to my sister. And you have to steal her. Can't you love birds play around some other day" Amy cries out.

"Amy,  shut up" I snap.

"I'm sorry Amber. But I have to borrow your sister now. Please" Jay makes a puppy dog face.

"Okay, but you know what will happen if she's hurt" she glares at him.

"Yup" he says stressing on the p.

"Amy, stop scaring him" I whisper so only she could here what I say.

"Just watching out for you" she winks.

"I guess I can do that. I'm the elder one here" I smack her head.

"Ow" she groans.

"I'll be down in five" I say as I shoot to my room to change my dress.

I pick an outfit and quickly change and run down.

"Okay, come on" I say as I see Amy still darting killer looks at Jay.

"Bye, both of you have fun." she sings.

As we walk out Jay gives me a ' she's crazy' look. I can't help but laugh at it.

"I know, she is crazy. Not the first time she's threatened you" I laugh.

"Wait ,we are going in that" I point out  at the huge Moto guzzi California 1400 coustom bike parked in front of my house.

"Yup, she's a beauty, isn't she" he smirks standing next to the bike.

"Damn, she's a beast" I admire the bike.

"Come on" he says holding a helmet. We put on our life saving helmets and hop on.

"Hold tight" he says as I put my hand around his torso.

"Just go" I am exited to get a ride in this bike.

As we start off it feels so good. The blow of the morning wind on my face. I feel more alive. I stretched out my arms to feel the air around me.

"Enjoying back there" Jay's voice breaks my thoughts.

"Very much" I reply.

After a few hours of ride we come to a stop near a forest like place. I can hear the sound of water flowing. The place looks dense with no one around. Why are we here I wonder.
