1 month post Z-Day

As the three were driving they came across an abandoned petrol station,

"right guys I'll fill the van with petrol, yous go in and see of there's any water, food preferably fresh fruit but anything will do." shaun said. So as they pulled In Sam and Georgia got their weapons and went in to the store while shaun checked all the pumps.
As they were doing this another vehicle pulled up.

"step away from the pump and leave son." a voice came from the second car.

"sir that's not going to happen" shaun turned on his radio without the other group knowing. "look in the only one here I'm just getting some petrol then leaving, and don't bother checking the store I was just in there its empty" shaun replied

Shaun and the other group kept arguing and a group of about 5 stepped out their car and started to surround him as they done this Georgia and Sam came out the store and snuck up behind them, Sam managed to knock one out and killed another with her lead pipe Georgia slit the throat of two and shaun got in to a fist fight and knocked the guy out when he head butted him with his helmet.

"are you okay, why did you say you were the only one?" Sam asked.

"I'm fine, let's handcuff this guy amd get him on the back, we could use hin as zombie bait"

"SHAUN!! WHAT THE FUCK WE'RE NOT LIKE THAT." Georgia shouted as she was filled with both anger and disgust.

"look I have known you and Sam for most of my life, I love yous both, your my best friends and yous are like family to me. When this all started I promised my self I'd make sure the two of yous would survive even if that means me dying or sacrificing people to save your okay!" I shouted back

After we settled down I handcuffed our guest and tapped his mouth and put him in the cage in the van and then we filled the van with fuel, before we left we made sure to loot the dead people and their car then we got in the van and left.

Sam was driving, Georgia was sleeping so was her dog buddy, he was a German Shepherd and was a really nice dog. I was sitting in the front with sam chatting and cleaning my helmet, and noting down everything we had recovered. After a few hours driving we came along a person walking next to the road who looked familiar. It wasn't till we passed them we noticed it was out friend Cherise so Sam slammed on the breaks making the van skid, she ran out and so I grabbed my helmet and followed.

"here pass me your bag I'll put it in the van."

"I don't mind carrying it over" she explained.

"it's fine and Georgia is sleeping in the back anyway."

So I took her back and put it in the van, but as I got in I looked at our prisoner who's eyes were niw read and blood shot, his skin was turning grey and covered in spots and boils.

"oh shit, Georgia out the van now"

I woke her and after she stepped out I closed the side door and grabbed my shield and knife, I didn't want to waste any ammo. So I walked up and had to open the cage to get him, as I opened it he tried to jump out but I forced him back in with the sheild and stabbed him in the eye. After he died I opened the back door and kicked his body out before stepping out the back and making sure to step on his head. The crushing sound and blood was enough to make me feel ill.

Once I liked up from my boot stuck in the remains of his head Georgia slapped me full force across the face.

" ahh what the hell"

"don't you dare scare me like that again." she said angrily.

"I'm sorry, here give me a hug." I pulled her into a hug and started to think amd never noticed that I actually said "it's nit easy to give a hug in full riot medic gear"

Everyone started to laugh then they all got in the van, closed the back and sides door and got in the drivers seat, Sam was in the back with Cherise Georgia went back to sleep. We just kept driving, I think we were going north but I could be wrong.

After another few hour's night fell and so we pulled over turned off the lights and slept, Georgia was on first watch. Then we just slept for a few hours.
