1 week later.

After spending a week on bed unable to stand up, I'm finally able to stand up. It was abiut 6 in the morning so I decided I was going to make my self a hot chocolate and sit outside. After about half an hour my hot chocolate was ready so I went out. Eve was just finishing her shift on nightwatch so we sat together for 20 minutes before she went in to bed. At abiut 7 Suzanne came out and sat next to me. We caught up.

"if the apocalypse hadn't happened, what do you think you'd be doing?"

"I don't know really, I'd imagine I'd still be in the police probably what about you?"

"still be a paramedic, maybe think abiut settling down and starting a family as well?"

"you know I honestly thought you would have been married."

"really?"
We carried on talking and laughing until it started to snow and then we remembered it was about December or January. I looked at my police radio which had the date and time one it and found out it was December 20th. 5 days till Christmas. After a while we decided to head in since it was quite cold. I went to the basement to check the water pipes to make sure they weren't frozen. While looking in the basement I found a couple of wooden sledges and some shovels. I decided to take them out and give them a clean then took them up about 3 hours later. It was abiut mid day and it was still snowing, over 4 hours of snow, there's abiut 1 foot of snow now, everyone else was in the living room. When I got there I showed them what I had found and for the first time since the start of the apocalypse we had fun, we went out amd played in the snow like children and we loved it. At around 5 we were all really cold so we went in and we all had a warm shower, got changed out our clothes and chilled jn the living room in our pajamas and wrapped in blankets playing games and laughing.

After an hour or two me and Suzanne went and made dinner and after that we went to bed.

The next day there was about an other 6 inch of snow so I got on a thick pair of trousers my flame proof overall trousers a top, jumper body armour and the rest of my gear along with my gloves, grabbed a shovel ams went out to clear the track to the house so of we needed to we could take the van down. After that I had a look in the basement and found lots of metal bars and sheets of metal and a welder as well. Not sure if it still works, thankfully it did so I decided to make a snow plough for the van.

After that I went and put it on the van then went to join. The others.

When I found them they were all getting ready to go on a supply run.

"well yous are in luck, I just out a plough on the front of the van. So we can get through the snow.

After about 13 hours we were back home, the journey was extremely long because of the snow.

When we were out we found a CB radio in a truck, the truck had a full tank of fuel, we took the fuel aswell. When we got home we tried the radio but didn't find much bit static and a few people looking for loved ones. We kept trying for a few days until one radio message came on.

"this is a government announced. If you are hearing this yoi need to get to the mount Road berry air force Base. The Base is outside Glasgow, map location. Grid 23,42 coordinates are 23,17. 42,28 this message will only be broadcasted for 3 days then the main gate will be sealed at 07:00 till the end of the apocalypse.

We decided to put it to a group vote. We all decided we'd go for it but we didn't have enough seats in the van, 1 person would either need to stay or stand in the van which was very unsafe.

"right I'll stand, Georgia you drive, Cherise yiu navigate. Suzanne yiu take one seat Eve yiu take another. We'll load all our supply's and bags into the cage and make sure the back door is welded shut and taped over, we dont want to lose anything.
