Z-Day 2022
Inverness, Scotland. At 04:32 on 4th of July about civilians starting to riot in the streets not only in Inverness but Glasgow, Dundee even Edinburgh.
Myself, Sergeant Shaun Gemmell, was one of the first deployed into the streets, near my house that I share with my friends Samantha and Sergeant Georgia McKeown. Despite being the medic I was still one of the highest ranked officers from before the war. The war against them, against the walkers.
When my team get out the van we are met by a street full of bodies and blood. We move down the street checking each building as we approach it, when we get to my house I unlocked the front door ran in and woke up Georgia and then Sam, she got a bit scared, when I woke her, in full riot gear in the dark. When we get out Georgia has grabbed her dog and her spare police uniform. And I take the two to the van, we give Georgia spare body armour we had and me her and Sam and a few of our neighbours were in our van the rest if the street in the other cans we had. We were at the back of the convoy. Eventually we were the only car in the convoy. We were attacked and surrounded by zombies. I was also the only one in the van with firearms training and had a MP5 and a GLOCK 18. At this point we didn't know these things were zombies, we didn't know what to think but as we tried to radio the rest of the convoy we got nothing but static from the lead van, then the rest were just filled with screams and horror before they went to static aswell. Our driver was knocked out from when we were attacked so I dragged him to the back while Georgia put on his helmet and started to drive, she drooped the grill down over the window and ran over zombies, passed the rest of the convoy and kept driving. We dropped the others off when and were they asked us to and then me Sam and Georgia just went on surviving.
