My heart's beating faster than it ever has before, and a part of me wonders if it will burst. If it does, I think, then I'll die one of the happiest people on this planet. I'm sitting next to a girl who has captured my heart, and I'd have it in no other hands. She has long blonde hair that will definitely get in the way later, but for now it frames her face that looks like complete perfection to me. I study her face as closely as I can without giving away my complete adoration for her, and I see her vibrant blue eyes that seem to be the lock on the box that holds my heart. As I continue looking my gaze moves down to see her lips, lips I've been waiting far too long to kiss, and I see two metal studs just below her bottom lip. Her lips are luscious and full, and seem to beg for me to press my rougher lips against them. Wonder what she'd think if I tipped her head up and kissed her right now? This thought comes without any surprise, and the urge to act on it is nearly irresistible. I continue to take in the beautiful form next to me and see her short, slight frame. I smile at her height in spite of myself because I've always had a thing for short girls, and she fits that description perfectly. Her arms are covered by long sleeves right now, but that doesn't hide the fact that her arms bare scars that go deeper than the skin they are visible on. Now I cannot resist the urge to kiss her, whether to comfort her or myself I do not know. I bring my hand up against the bottom of her chin, making it so that she is looking into my eyes and I kiss her. I feel the rough texture of my lips against her and now my heart beats so hard it feels as though I might break a rib. It's a short kiss, and it's over far too soon. As I pull away I see that the face that has brought so much happiness into my life break into a smile so wide and radiant that I can't help but mirror it. All I can think is, I'm falling in love with this girl.
