"Jude, why can't I see you?" Connor asked as he connected with Jude on FaceTime, but his screen showed darkness.

"I don't know..." Jude lied unconvincingly. "Maybe my camera is broken?"

Connor raised a skeptical eyebrow. "Oh, really?"

"Yup," Jude confirmed. "That's too bad. Guess we'll just have to talk like this."

"You do realize I can see your finger slipping off from where it's covering the lens right?" Connor laughed.

Jude groaned, "God damn these skinny fingers."

"What are you doing, Jude?" Connor asked amusedly.

"Being insecure," Jude mumbled, "duh."

"What do you mean?" Connor asked.

"I'm hiding my ugliness from your hotness, ya feel?" Jude tried to cover the lens more efficiently.

"You're not ugly, Jude," Connor chuckled.

"Mhm," Jude rolled his eyes. "You flatter me."

"What?" Connor laughed. "I said you weren't ugly."

"I know," Jude pouted. "But you're supposed to say more than that."

"Like what?" Connor crossed his arms, raising his eyebrow in amusement.

"I don't know..." Jude trailed off. "Maybe reassure me that I'm the cutest person you've ever met and that you love my smooth complexion and shining eyes?"

Connor raised an eyebrow.

"Just throwing something out there, y'know?" Jude joked.

Connor threw his head back as he let out a loud laugh. He smiled at Jude in admiration and amusement. "Well, Jude. How convenient, because I was just gonna say you're the cutest person I've ever met," Connor couldn't contain his smile.

"You don't say?" Jude bit his lip in an attempt to keep the smile on his face from appearing as he blushed lightly. "Say, what do you think about my complexion and eyes?"

Connor smirked, "Oh, how could I forget your smooth complexion and sparkly-"

"Shiny," Jude coughed, correcting him mid sentence.

"Oh right, shiny eyes," Connor oils to stop smiling.

"You had me worried there for a second, Stevens," Jude giggled. "Thought you'd forgotten."

"I would never," Connor fake gasped.

Jude opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by the sound a voice yelling something incoherent followed by Jude's door slamming open. Jude's first thought was that it was Jesus, causing him to turn in his seat quickly as he tried to cover the screen so that neither Jesus nor Connor would ask any questions. For that would lead to an inexplicably awkward conversation about whatever the fuck Connor and Jude's relationship was.

Upon turning, Jude came face-to-face with none other than Taylor.

Taylor's gaze was frozen on Jude's screen as she didn't move from the doorway. A smile began to rise on her face.

Jude immediately groaned, covering his blushing face with his hands as Taylor advanced towards them. "Oh god no," Jude mumbled into his hands.

"Why hello there my favorite homosexuals," Taylor plopped down in the open seat next to Jude nonchalantly.

Connor watched as the pixelated figure made its way from the door to the computer. Connor squinted at the screen, "Is that- oh my god."
